Formed from the ashes of great Detroit bands such as: Nuke and the Toxic Offenders, Pride Drive, Version 2 and Karpe Diem, Nuke and the Living Dead didn't waste any time getting in the studio after only 3 practices in the basement. Since then, they have unleashed an undead assault on the Detroit area. As an unstoppable team they fuse influences from bands such as the Misfits, the Ramones, the Damned, Operation Ivy, Rancid and Fear. They have produced a blend of Punk, Rockabilly, Ska, Doo-Wop and a hint of Hardcore. You can find all of that in their 30-something original and 20 + cover song repertoire. The shows vary from drunken antics and dead-painted faces to calm laid-back acoustic sets and everywhere in between. Chances are, you'll find something in an average set list that will grab you like a corpse coming out of the ground looking for brains. Over the years Nuke and The Living Dead have been spreading a branch of horror rock all over the northern horror punk scene.
