Free Music Review: As good as the first 2 albums! Don't listen to the bad reviews if you like Dio and
Hit: 5 Stars
Ok maybe Vivian Campbell doesn't shred as fast as he did on the first albums and this album isn't as heavy but this album is so underrated it should be a crime. This is album is melodic yet heavy and powerful.
1.King of Rock and Roll- 10/10 A great opener with a fake live audience. Great fast paced track that may not be as great as Stand Up And Shout or We Rock but it's still a great fast paced track. Dio's vocals are flawless on this track on Ronnie wrote this brilliant riff himself. Vivian Campbell's solo on this track is excellent and he shreds away like he did on the first 2 albums.
2.Sacred Heart- 10/10 A brilliant song! Once again Ronnie wrote the whole song including the beautiful lyrics and the great riff! This continues the tradition of great fantasy lyrics and epic songs from Dio and Rainbow! A great slow melodic solo from Vivian Campbell too.
3.Another Lie- 10/10 A great Scoprions esque riff that Ronnie wrote once again and great lyrics and vocals again in this melodic track. Another shredding solo from Vivian Campbell that is similar to his shredding on the first 2 albums. Some amazing drumming to from Vinny Appice especially at the end of the
track!
4.Rock N Roll Children- 10/10 An amazing track! Once again Ronnie wrote the whole track himself! Ronnie's vocals are amazing once again his vocals are just perfect. The lyrics are some of his best too. The solo is amazing too while it's not a fast solo it's very melodic and lyrical and fits the song perfectly. This is the best track on the album too! This was a very popular single too. This is one of Ronnie's favorite songs on the album
5.Hungry for Heaven- 10/10 A very commercial song. The other big hit on the album. If not for the weak chorus this would be one of the best songs on the album. The lyrics are great once again. This is the first song that was co wrote with Ronnie on this album as Ronnie wrote the first 4 by himself aswell as writing the last 3 by himself. The vocals are great of course and a great melodic solo by Vivian Campbell.
6.Like the Beat of a Heart- 10/10 Another great song. This is one of Ronnie's favorite songs on the album. A great riff and a great solo. Some more excellent lyrics from Ronnie too. Vivian Campbell puts down another great solo.
7.Just Another Day- 10/10 Another fast melodic track with some very heavy bass on it. Great lyrics and very powerful vocals as well. A classic shredding Vivian Campbell solo. It's amazing Ronnie wrote all of the riffs in this song too.
8.Fallen Angels- 10/10 Another great melodic track thar Ronnie wrote all of. There's a few great riffs in this track. Some powerful vocals again and 2 classic Vivian Campbell solos.
9.Shoot Shoot- 8/10 A very good melodic track with another great riff but the chorus is just terrible...sorry Ronnie 8 out of 9 isn't bad. The solo is good but just skip this one.
