Ooh man, I can't tell you how awful this album is, it's really bad. I was just listening to it 1-5 and man, this album is really
really bad. It has several really awful cuts depart from 'So Far Away'. 'Why Worry' is one of the worst, most dull songs I have ever heard with 8 dull sad minutes. It's so retarted. I don't like it, I wish you could throw this in your trash can and go
get the 1991 Dire Straits album insted. Even Metallica is better
than this so stay away from this awful album. Thanks.

I just realised I haven't reviewed the BIG 3. My big 3 anyway.
I love to hear arguments about each decades' biggest recording. As far as the '80s go, I don't believe anyone put out a better record than this one.
1960's (I was born in '69, but I know what the greatest record of that decade is) - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band / The Beatles.
1970s - (I didn't purchase this one until the early '80s) Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
1980s - (You can argue with me on this one... but I'll win) Brothers in Arms - Dire Straits
Mark and Dire Straits always had great albums, but this is the best and tell me who put a more solid record out in that decade---

Dire Straits are one of the greatest bands in history. Brothers in Arms is a great one from them and has 3 of their greatest in So Far Away (which i'm trying to play guitar to it), Money for Nothing, and Walk of Life. Why Worry is beautiful too, just like
Foreigner's Waiting For A Girl Like You. Then the last song, Brothers in Arms is pretty good anti war song. And remember, buy this with all Dire Straits til Alchemy and BBC. I hope you found this review helpful too. by.

I just cant understand why people slam this great album.I am not a dire straits fan and only like theit debut and this album.rest of their cd's are quite bad as to me they soung like lounge music.Money for nothing has great songs in walk of life,title track and so far away.Ignore the recommendations of the reviewer called whirligig and get this with their debut whilst avoiding all their other remaining albums.Free Music Review: overrated and i don't know why

Why do people love this album from Dire Straits? I think the other 4 albums from Dire Straits are slightly better. And this
is not their top seller, either. So in my opinion, it's slightly
overrated with several weak songs. Here are the good songs on this album. SO FAR AWAY, MONEY FOR NOTHING, and WALK OF LIFE.
But I can't stand the rest of it as it's boring. This is a little
to 80's for me, I would like it if it wasn't their top seller and if LOVE OVER GOLD could be it. Get these albums insted...ON
EVERY STREET, MAKING MOVIES, DIRE STRAITS DEBUT, and LOVE OVER
