This is the best Dire Straits release and is probably one of the greatest albums of all time. I can't get enough of the greatest rockin roll song ever in "Heavy Fuel". I play it over and over and over and never get tired of it!!! It's just the greatest song in rock and roll history. Free Music Review: Sweet Child O' Mine versus Heavy Fuel

This is probably my 5th or 6th Dire Straits album! I compare two
songs to see which one is better, Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns N'
Roses, or Heavy Fuel by Dire Straits. Heavy Fuel is definately the best song on the CD, great guitars and vocals and a track you can repeat. I like The Bug also because it is got some fast drums, and great guitars and vocals. Also, check out Calling Elvis the opener. Calling Elvis is a really cool song! Then My
Parties will make you laugh because the lyrics are made great and the whole song is just rocks!! Then you got Planet of New Orleans which with the greatest rock ending epic. On Every Street is a must have for every rock fan!! Guarantee it!!
Free Music Review: Heavy Fuel, My Greatest Hits Song

Last night, I learned how to play Heavy Fuel, and it was great.
The sound sounded like heavy metal to me. But today, I got the
chorus, the whole song I can do. How amazing that is. I think
Knopfler does Heavy Fuel very well and it is one my all time
favorite songs. In my opinion worth repeat over and over n over
again. Calling Elvis is a very good album opener in my opinion.
The Bug is a good song too but better live. My Parties is a great
song too, last night I couldn't remember what track that My Parties was on. But then I relized that it was track 10. But
great buy along with Love Over Gold. Later,

This song is their best song of all time, Heavy Fuel. That and
Money for Nothing are just great hard rocking songs from Dire
Straits and they have to be 5 stars. Definately you have to listen to them and repeat over and over again! Don't get me
wrong, Walk of Life is not ranked the best but still good. Heavy
Fuel could have been a better choice for Dire Straits Hit songs
if they were gonna make it popular. I'm also glad Skateaway is
popular because it gives me a lot of love and it rocks too.
Dire Straits made many great hard rocking songs and they rule.
The best rock and roll band of all time!!!! Maybe the best
behind The Rolling Stones.

Dire Straits' final album...(sniff) The end of a group that produced such masterpieces like Sultans Of Swing, Brothers In Arms, Tunnel Of Love, Love Over Gold etc. Well, at least they go off in style with On Every Street. Calling Elvis is quite a song to shake your feet to when you're feeling bored, and My Parties is another testament to Mark Knopfler's genius about a backyard garden party. Heavy Fuel is also another foot-shaking song about lust, drink and violence. Overall, it's an excellent swansong for one of the most talented bands of the 80's.
Had Dire Straits not broke up, they might have matched the success of such legendary bands like the Beatles and Fleetwood Mac.
