This album is great but it needs more like Skateaway, Expresso Love, Solid Rock, Telegraph Road, When It Comes to You, The Bug,& My Parties. But anyway it has most of the songs I like. My favs off this album are Sultans of Swing, Tunnel of Love, So Far
Away, Money for Nothing, & Heavy Fuel. Others I like are Lady Writer, Romeo and Juliet, Twisting by the Pool, Brothers in Arms,
Walk of Life, Calling Elvis, & On Every Street. The weakest song
on this is Private Investigations. Well I hope you buy it because
I am a huge Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler fan. Get it now.

Sultans of Swing is the most famous single of Dire Straits. From the fist beginning almost everyone recognizes the special sound of Dire Straits. But there's more. For example "Romeo and Juliet" is a magnificant song, as well as "Private Investigations", followed by the very easy listening song "Twisting by the pool".The major point is that this album contains the best songs of Dire Straits. So, if you don't want more cd's than strictly necesssary, but including one of Dire Straits: buy this one !

I didn't even know who the dire straits were until last summer, when a college cousin played this cd. All I can say is DAMN! There's not one bad song on here. Of course, there's "Money for Nothing" and "Walk of Life", but my personal favorite is "Lady Writer."Really, I lucked out because along with this cd came another one: a special edition cd of them in concert! If you happen to get this one, don't forget to listen to the DAMN AWESOME solo of Mark Knopfler on the guitar.

its a must buy! listening 2 it will make u fall in love instantly with the group. "romeo and juliet" is just amazing and so are the others. although a few songs like "telegraph road" and "where do u think u r going" are not present but the rest of the tracks are pretty cool. if u like rock then u must pick it up. the songs will hold u entranced and when u listen 2 u ust can't listen 2 it as background music. it'll hold your concentration. I just got the cd a couple of days ago, but i hadn't stopped listening to it since.I think the band is great, i never heard a band that sounded so well together. It's just as if they were just one instrument.
They have so much talent and they know how to show it making these incredible songs that we can listen in this album.
I think everyonce should buy it, there's no complete cd collection without some dire straits and this is a good example of their good job playing music.
