The soundtrack to this unforgettable and heartwarming story has several of the great oldies of the 60s, but is more strongly anchored in my opinion by the the likes of Eric Carmen (Hungry Eyes), Tom Johnston (Where Are You Tonight), Merry Clayton (Yes) and that beloved, unforgettable duet between Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes, "(I've Had) The Time Of My Life". Either way you look at it, rarely will you find so many great songs on the soundtrack of the same movie.Free Music Review: One of my favorite soundtracks!

I've had the tape for 13 years(has it REALLY been that long?)and I really liked it then and I like it now(even though I don't listen to it as much because I listen to my CDs more). I know all the words to the songs and I remember using "Overload" in my 7th grade gym class when we were doing aerobics. Dirty Dancing was one of the greatest movies of all time, and it has a soundtrack to match. The catchy "I've had the time of my life," might make you dance across the floor, and you'll find yourself singing to "Love is strange" in no time. I'm still singing "Baby, oh baby, my sweet baby, you're the one" :) This is one of those soundtracks that you'll listen to forever, and it will never grow old!Free Music Review: One look at you and I fantasize...

This soundtrack is tight! with a capital "T"!!!The best song is Hungry Eyes by Eric Carmen. My girlfriend and I dance to this song all the time at home. We actually have a routine in the Dirty Dancing Style. It's a mix of salsa and waltz to the beat of Eric Carmen's song. When we get married we are definitely going to use this soundtrack as the backdrop to our reception. In fact, the first dance will be to Hungry Eyes.

When I got this cd I was so pleased w/ the result this cd has all the classic love songs us girls like to hear Hungry Eyes,Time of your Life stay, You don't own me... I really enjoy listening to this cd it's somthing you can't get tired of and I think it appeals to all ages i'm 18 so I was 3 when this movie and soundtrack came out I gotta say I really do love it and feel its one of the best cd's I own.... 5 stars no doubt
