This is a great soundtrack to an extrodinatry "underdog" film. The CD quality is awesome, the the main song on the CD - "(I've Had) The Time Of My Life" is great - along with the others. For any Dirty Dancing lover, this CD is a must have. "Yes" by Merry Clayton was made in the 1980's, but sounds exactly like a 60's Mo-Town hit - the purpose for the song. I really like the music from the movie Dirty Dancing. I like this one song that I don't know though. It plays when Baby's sister Lisa is walking to Robbys house at night and finds out he's with somebody else in his room(harsh). Does anybody know which song I'm talking about? I don't remember the lyrics and I don't know the artist. Can someone play back their Dirty Dancing tape and help me out? :)Free Music Review: A classic thru time...a MUST for cool people

Well, I adore music, lived in 5 countries, speak 3 lingos and used to do choregraphy 5 times a week for about 9 years and...as much as I love French songs, Italian opera and Hispanic Rumba, Dirty Dancing is a classic of gold quality too: American romance, and a beat to listen that is great from training to dancing even for driving!
Take it for what it is: a true timeless gem...

The soundtrack of the enchanting movie is also enchanting. The mesmerizing and magical "Time of My Life" is one of the best songs of all time, and the other choices are almost as good. If you've never heard it, you are in for a treat, but there are few left in that category. Good to have a copy of your own to listen to at wim.
