Free Music Review: THIS CD IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!

Disciple is back and better than ever! The have changed their style a bit, however, from a little less metal more towards hard rock. But, the metal influences are still strongly present in the music. And don't get me wrong - I absolutely loved their previous CDs, but I think this one is equally as good in its own right.
Musically, they don't back down with their awesome hard rock riffs and incredible tempos to their songs. The lead singer has an awesome voice (mostly singing and a little bit of post-hardcore shouting/screaming) and he has truly been given a gift from God to do what he does. Mostly the whole CD is very uptempo and has a very edgy rock feel to it; it is in no way mediocre rock at all like some of the other stuff we're hearing today. Some of the songs have places that are a little slower tempo, and "Only You" is a much slower worship song (but still has some power chord riffs present in the chorus).
Mostly all the rest of the songs are pretty hard and great, as well. This is one of those rare CDs that you can just put in your player and let it go through all of the songs. I really like every song on this CD! Some of my favorites are (in no particular order): Stripped Away, Into Black, Rise Up, Worth It All, Backstabber, and Tribute.
The lyrics in their songs are incredibly inspring (and uplifting) and all inspired by or come straight from Biblical scripture. But, this is a CD for anyone and everyone, in my opinion, because the lyrics deal with a lot of things that we all can relate to. The group really lives up to their name: Disciple, however, and they do not back down from their Christian faith. They truly are bringing the word of God to us along with some awesome music!
This CD rocks and is one of my personal favorites, and I have and listen to a lot of good heavy music. If you like good hard rock music, Christian or not, check it out! I sure hope you like it as much as I do! Disciple Rocks!!!
