I was having some problems getting my 21 month old son to wind down before bedtime, and this cd did the trick! I put it on about 20 minutes before bedtime, lower the lights, and we either sit and talk quietly, or read books, etc. Then we turn off the lights, and I rock him to sleep to these wonderful lullabies. They are really well done, not cutesy at all. My husband and I both enjoy winding down with this cd at the end of the day as we rock our son to sleep. One of the best cd's we've ever gotten for our child.Free Music Review: nicely done

I LOVE this CD for my son! I used a few other lulaby CD's and well, I wasnt too interested in them. They weren't something I particularly enjoyed but then I got him this one and we listen to it every night after his bath, while I get him ready for his bath and then put him to bed. The songs are sweet and nice to sing along with them to baby, even if you have a bad voice. My favorites are Baby Mine and Dreams are the Flowers. But the whole CD is really great. I would definatly consider giving it as a baby gift!Free Music Review: Disney Fan

This is such an incredible album of wonderful songs, especially the "Fast Asleep" (which will soothe your child to sleep) and the beautiful "Nighty Night" ballad. The melody and harmony of "Nighty Night" brought tears to my eyes. It invokes the magical spirit of the connection between child and parent, and makes you realize and appreciate the joy of that little bundle of love. If every child and parent could share these songs, the world would be a better place.Free Music Review: A MUST Have!!!

We received this in '95 for the birth of our 1st child. We ran the tape to death and bought it on CD. It goes everywhere w/ us. Even in a German birthing center playing while I was laboring our 3rd child. It just has the best calming effect. Of course every child has had it's own special time w/ it and it brings everyone together when bonding w/ a new baby. This will be our 4th and final baby to have to go thru this w/. I got this first as a tape when I was pregnant with my daughter(1992). I would listen to it at night with it right next to my belly. When I brought her home from the hospital she would fall asleep as soon as I put it on (we went through three tapes with her). Last time the tape wore out we replaced it with a CD when I was pregnant with my son (1999).I was surprised to find it still put my daughter to sleep. My son loves it and has me put it on every night.
