Free Music Review: A disappointment in what this CD could have been

My problem with this CD is not what it is; rather what it could have been. The songs 'Home' and 'If I Can't Love Her' are great, but then you mix in childish ditties like 'Be Our Guest' and 'Me' and the effect is ruined. The lyrics that aren't written by Tim Rice are inane and childish. Because this musical is geared towards children, the story is watered down and less meaningful. The reason I'm disappointed is because when you listen to 'If I Can't Love Her' you see what potential the musical could have held, but, sadly, it didn't live up to its potential.
