Free Music Review: The Best CD EVER!! Hit: 5 Stars
I really loved this CD. Being a HUGE Broadway fan, I absolutely crave new talents and soundtracks. First, the vocal sounds were wonderful, especially Terrence Mann as the Beast and Susan Egan as Belle. Second, the songs are so beautiful. 'If I Can't Love Her' is a wonderful way to see how lonely and depressed the Beast is. 'Gaston' shows what a hothead the guy is. 'Human Again',my personal favorite, expresses the enchanted objects' longings to be human once more. And, of course, we absolutely CANNOT forget 'Beauty and the Beast', which sort of tells the story of Belle and the Beast. This CD is fabulous and truly is something every Broadway fan should have in their collection. I give it 3 thumbs up!!!
Free Music Review: Beauty and the Beast the other beast Hit: 5 Stars
I recently went to see Beauty and the Beast on broadway. I enjoyed the show on broadway very much, but it was the actor who play lumiere the talking candlestick who stole the show. the actors that played belle and the beast were superb as well. all i can say is that, this is a wonderful musical, and that we all have a kid within us that enjoys a moment like this. with all the musicals going on, with the exception of les miserables (which i have seen four times) which is closing next month, beauty and the beast had the longest line. the night that i went to see it, it played to a full house. even it was originally a kid's disney movie, this is one musical that the family can enjoy.
Free Music Review: A 15 Time Thing Hit: 5 Stars
I just saw the show on saturday and I fell in love with the music. I have been a fan of this story for many many years, since I saw the movie when I was four years old when it first came into theaters. I am now 17 years old and I am listening to this cd or the movie cd 15 times a day, even during school. This cd is by far the best recording of the disney music that we all know and love. If you don't have this soundtrack, GET IT ASAP!!!!!!!! It will be worth the money you pay for it. Trust me, your whole family will love it so much, they will make you take them to New York City to see the show. And you will love that even more.
Free Music Review: Lovely! Hit: 5 Stars
At first, I listened to this CD thinking it would have the same songs as the movie. (I've never seen the broadway production.) Well, I was wrong. This CD has many more songs that are just in the musical like No Matter What sung by Belle and her father. The voices of all the characters help me picture what they look like. The orchestration is great (not to mention the orchestra itself.) The mood of every song is exactly right. I'm also amazed at the range of Susan Egan's voice! She can sing pretty high in Belle and low in Home. My personal favorite song from this CD is Home. Buy this CD! You won't regret it.
