Free Music Review: Much Better Than The Original, I Was Very Shocked!
Hit: 5 Stars

You might recognize me also reviewing Disneymania (check it out,
it's three stars) and how I was complaining so much about it. Well, good news: This album is way better than the first! With
much better songs by much better artists, this is the second-best right now (Disneymania 3 rocks the best)! Some of the many
highlights included songs by the Duff sisters, the Disney Channel Circle Of Stars, and LMNT. Now, my opinion on the whole
album:

1. Jump5 - Welcome (10/10)
Much better opening than on Disneymania 1. Fun song, more beter
and upbeat than the version by Phil Collins and The Blind Boys
Of Alabama.

2. Raven - True To Your Heart (10/10)
Not as good as the one by 98 Degrees and Stevie Wonder, but I
still give it ten stars because it is a fun and bubbly song (as
with most of Raven's songs).

3. Baha Men - It's A Small World (10/10)
A little more techno than the original, I love this one much better!

4. The Beu Sisters - He's A Tramp (5/10)
Okay...I guess.

5. Stevie Brock - Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah (9/10)
Fun and bubbly little song, Stevie matures a tad with this song.

6. Hilary and Haylie Duff - The Siamese Cat Song (10/10)
Certainly a very unique song, this one was cute for the Duffs. It was a good idea for these pop sisters to collaborate and make
such a dull and boring song more fun, bubbly, and upbeat.

7. Disney Channel Circle Of Stars - Circle Of Life (10/10)
You can certainly say it was better than the original with lent
vocals from Hilary Duff, A.J. Trauth, Raven, Kyla Pratt, and more.

8. LMNT - A Whole New World (10/10)
Fun and so much different and unique from the original!

9. no secrets - Once Upon (Another) Dream (8/10)
It kind of bored me a bit, but you can say it was okay...right?

10. The Beu Sisters - Anytime You Need A Friend (10/10)
Better than the other song from them on here. I'm so glad that
they did a cover of the Alan Menken song. More fast and bubbly.

11. Jesse McCartney - The Second Star To The Right (10/10)
Cute, bubbly, song. Breaking out of Dream Street, this seventeen
year old has a powerful and "beautiful" voice.

12. Ashley Gearing - When You Wish Upon A Star (9/10)
Somewhat a lullaby, somewhat a dull song, somewhat beautiful!

13. Daniel Bedingfield - A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes (2/10)
I didn't really dig the slow part, nor the jazzy part. So annoying! The Disney Channel Circle Of Stars version is better.

14. They Might Be Giants - Baroque Howedown (from Disney's Electrical Parade) (5/10)
Cute, bubbly song, but I'm not digging the instrumental.

Free Music Review: Who said pop was dead ????
Hit: 5 Stars

Wow !! Now I must say, that i am a "mature" music fan. I like Switchfoot, Toni Braxton, Celine Dion, and other such people. But when I heard the first Disneymania I knew I had to buy the next one. I was a little wary because I thought it might not be as good. IT WAS AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER !!!!!

I feel about this the way i feel about the last collection. THey could have picked a better opening track. "welcome" is a sweet song and Jump5 are definately maturing musically, but i was still dissapointed.

But it was a good thing I kept listening !!!

Who are the BEU sisters ? They are so talented and they deservedly have two great tracks on this CD. The lead singer (whoever this angel is) slinks through "He's a tramp! with Toni Braxton-esque moans and an impressive deep voice uncommon in the modern pop world. The other song by the group is "Anytime you need a friend." an ok song.

When I first heard NO SECRETS on the first cd, i thought "how cute" as they sang "Kiss the girl" but as they belt out a dance-hall version os "once upon a dream" I~m thinking "how hot is this?" They are definataley going to replace Britney Spears once America gets tired of her...which won't take long.

Hilary and Haylie Duff deliver a rocked out version of "The SIamese cat son" with appropriately feline vocals. there is also a surprise punk rock riff in the end !!

A few of the tracks ("second star to the right" "Zip-ee-doo-dah" and "Circle of life") are sweet but forgetable.

LMNT (whoever they are) deliver the best cover of "A whole new world" to date. Daniel Bedingfield does a great big band version of one of my personal disney faves "A dream is a wish you heart makes."

Raven surprised me with her earthy, bouncy version of "True to your heart." Stevie Wonder would be proud :)

All in all, agreat CD (minus the strange THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS track at the end which kinda ruined the ending for me. they need to retire.) whats great is to put this in with the first one and press "shuffle" thats a LOT of fun. Of course this one doesn~t have the impressive artists the other one did. But a few returners and few unknowns made this disc a winner. I just wish it would get radio play and hype !!! This is really great stuff !! Love it, listen to it everyday.

Caution to hard core Disney fans : they changed the melody and added a thumbing dance beat to " Once uopn a dream" so you might not like it. Also, several of the songs are much weaker then the originals, so if your not a teeny-bopper, you may not appreciate it :) I hope you like it though...

Free Music Review: As much as I love the first one, this is SOOOOO much better!
Hit: 5 Stars

I didn't really look at the track list when I picked up this CD - I just wanted to buy it for the song "Welcome" - Jump5.

Highlights of the CD are:

1.) Welcome (Jump5) - This is the last studio recorded song by Jump5 feat. Libby Hodges, because she has decided to leave the group. I loved the song when they performed it live at the Christmas Day Parade, and it's fun to listen to over and over.
5.) Zip A Dee Doo Dah (Stevie Brock) - The first time I heard this song, I thought "Wait, Aaron Carter doesn't have any songs on this CD!?" He sounds exactly like him, but that's not a bad thing. It's a fun song, and one of my favorites.
9.) Once Upon (Another) Dream (No Secrets) - I saw the music video for this song on the Disney Channel. VERY different than the original, but that isn't a bad thing. I love singing along with this one, and dancing to it's fun, too.
10.) When You Need a Friend (The Beu Sisters) - This song is played on the Disneymania 2 commercial, and it sounds very much like a Jump5 song. I'm really impressed by their vocals (as well as their vocals on track 4 - "He's a Tramp") and found myself listening to this song over and over.
11.) Second Star to the Right (Jesse McCartney) - I was very impressed by this song, it's my very favorite on the CD. Because I don't own a copy of his first solo album ("JMac"), I was really excited to see his name on the track list.

I love every song on the CD (except for "It's a Small World" - Baha Men), and highly recommend it. I'm above the target age (around 7-11, I'm 15), but love it.

Overall grade - A

I think that Disney Mania 2 definetly is better than the first... here is my overall review:

1. Welcome - Jump 5 Um... I'm not a big fan of Jump 5 and I don't think they really have musicial talent so I didn't really enjoy this song Rating: 1.5/5

2. True To Your Heart - Raven This is song is good, Raven definetly has a good voice Rating: 4.5/5

3. It's A Small World - Baha Men I hate this song! I love the original song but when the Baha Men sing it it's really really bad. Rating: 1/5

4. He's A Tramp - The Beu Sisters Didn't really like this one... not all that great Rating: 2/5

5. Zip A Dee Doo Dah - Stevie Brock My favorite song on the album! Stevie Brock is so cute in this song. It's a great remake. You should buy Stevie's debut album in stores now. He's an awesome singer. Rating: 5/5

6. The Siamese Cat Song - Hilary & Haylie Duff This song is so horrible. They both cannot sing if they wanted to. The song is very annoying. Rating: 1/5

7. Circle Of Life - Disney Channel Circle Of Stars Good song... good vocals... I like it Rating: 4.5/5

8. A Whole New World - LMNT Ehh... not the best song in the world... it could definetly be better with better vocal range Rating: 2/5

9. Once Upon Another Dream - No Secrets 4 words: It could be better. Rating: 1.5/5

theres more songs but they're not great... I really really liked Stevie Brocks' Zip A Dee Doo Dah and Circle of Life. Thats about it. GO BUY STEVIE BROCKS ALBUM!!!!
