Free Music Review: THE BEST ONE YET!!!!

I was actually sort of disappointed when I got this CD because the majority of songs on here have already been on other Disneymania albums. I'd like to see some new songs with Disneymania 4 such as: Just Around The Riverbend (Pocahontas), Look Through My Eyes(Brother Bear),Bella Notte (Lady & The Tramp), Be Our Guest (Beauty and the Beast)& anything from Mary Poppins. Also, I'd like to see some other artists on #4 like JoJo, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, or Ashlee Simpson. Well, enough about Disneymania 4...Let's get back to 3. To break it down for you, I'll rate each song and give a brief description.
1. Under The Sea (Raven)-8/10-When I first got this CD, I didn't really like this song (which made me disappointed since I luv Raven usually), but after I listened to it a few times, I grew to like it. It really keeps the vibe from the original versionwhile adding some R&B grooves. The part I didn't like about it was Raven making the voices trying to sound like Sebastian. It makes it sound weird. I still like the A*Teens version from Disneymania 1 a lot better.
2. Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride (Jump5)-10/10-One of my favorites, even though it's kinda biased since Jump5 is my FAVORITE GROUP EVA!!! The words are kind of hard to understand, though, at first, with all that Hawaiian language in it. I still don't know what all that means, but it's cool anyways.
3. A Whole New World (Nick Lachey & Jessica Simpson)-9/10-This is so much better than LMNT's version,especially since it has a man/woman duet insted of all guys. This really sounds alot like the original, keeping the ballad style to it. Also, a very appropiate song for a husband & wife to sing together, which made it perfect for Nick & Jessica.
4. It's A Small World (Fan_3)-0/10-This song is pure garbage! The rap addition to it takes a lot away from it. The only original lyrics to it are the chorus "It's a small world after all/Its a small world after all/It's a small world after all/It's a small small world" which are sung annoyingly by what sounds like a group of preschoolers. This song is crap!
5. The Bare Neccessities (Bowling For Soup)-7/10-Not my favorite, considering I'm not a big fan of hard rock. They put a rocky, guitar-driven feel to it. Even though I was happy to see a song I wanted on here, since i was little, TBN was one of my favorite Disney tunes, but BFS kinda made me disappointed.I think on D4, somebody like A*Teens should do this song.
6. I Won't Say (The Cheetah Girls)-10/10-I was very disappointed that Raven wasn't singing with them on this, but it's still one of my favorites. I had never heard this song before until I got this CD.
7.Zip A Dee Doo Dah (Aly & AJ)-10/10-Aly & AJ are new to the music scene, so in case u don't know who they are, Alyson Michalka (Aly) plays the role of Keely on Disney Channel's Phil Of The Future. She teamed up with her sister Amanda (A.J.) to make...Aly & A.J. You can hear their songs on Disney Channel, including Do You Believe In Magic, No One, Rush, & Walking On Sunshine. They are currently working on an album to be released on August 16. Well enough about them, lets get back to the song. They do a wonderful soft rock version of this song. Great to dance to! ROCK ON ALY & A.J. CANT WAIT FOR YOUR ALBUM!!!!!!!!
8.Kiss The Girl (Vitamin C)-7/10-Not my favorite. I like No Secrets version much better!
9.Part Of Your World (Skye Sweetnam)-9/10-I really like this. Even though I'm not a fan of hard rock, I really do like Skye. She's only 18, I think, & just listen to her voice! I was surprised when I found out later she was only a teenager.
10.Colors Of The Wind (Christy Carlson Romano)-10/10-You've seen Chirsty star in Disney Channel's Even Stevens and Kim Possible. In fall 2004, she also starred as Belle in Broadway's Beauty And The Beast. Now, she's singing. You may call her a jack-of-all-trades. Even though I normally don't like Christy's music, this is definitely an exception. This is a beautiful ballad with a touch of nature feel to it.
11.Proud Of Your Boy (Clay Aiken)-5/10-Not a big Clay fan. This song is only like 2 minutes long in the first place. I just don't like this song or Clay, so this song doesnt score for me. The only thing I like about it is the music.
12. Strangers Like Me (Everlife)-10/10-Everlife is a new face in music, played on Radio Disney. Some people may not know this, but Everlife is a Christian group. I like that Christian groups are being played on secular airwaves. This song is awesome, definitely in a tie for the best song with Hawaiian RC Ride, I Won't Say, & ZipaDee Doo Dah. LOTS OF LOVE EVERLIFE!!!
13. A Dream Is A Wish (Kimberley Locke)-8/10- This song is OK. Its not one of my faves but its still good. I like the ballad-feel to it.
14. Cruella De Vil (LaLaine)-8/10-I'm not a big fan of this song but I like the music to it.
15. When You Wish Upon A Star (Jesse McCartney)-8/10-He does an OK job on this song. Ashley Gearing's version is my favorite though.
Overall, this CD gets an A. This is prolly the best Disneymania CD!!!!
Free Music Review: By one point, DM3 beats the other two...

DM3 shows that Disney Channel was reading the other two reviews for the other two cds. Everyone complaning: "It's pop-ish!" On this cd, I surprisingly found out that there was a lot of rock songs on this album. I was happy because pop definatley gets cheesy after a while and not to mention boring!!! I was also surprised that they did not just have Disney singers sing on this album. For the other 2 albums it was mostly Disney singers singing on it. But on this album, a bunch of other singers got a chance to prove they were good too. Ex: Fan_3, Bowling for Soup, Vitamin C, Skye Sweetman, etc.)
1. Under the sea - Raven Symone (The Little Mermaid) I'll say one thing. I am a great fan of Raven Symone. From when she was on the cosby show to her first album to her new show that's so raven. I also thought she had an awesome voice. But on this song, she does not live up to the smooth and catching voice she usually does. It's more jamacan style and reminds me of vacation on the Carabbeans. 4/5
2. Hawauuan Roller Coaster Ride - Jump5 (Lilo & Stitch) When I saw Lilo & Stitch the movie, a bunch of choras kids were singing it. I thought that completley ruined the song. But Jump5 rocked it up a little bit and made it more interesting. Much better than their song on DM2. 5/5
3. A Whole New World - Jessica Simpson & Nick Lachey (The Little Mermaid) This song was featured on the disney channel months before anyone even knew DM3 was even out. I think they did it a little earlier than the other singers (maybe like 2003) because I remember hearing this was the first song they decided to put on DM3. Anway, Nick Lachey definatley overshined Jessica in this. 5/5
4. It's A Small World (Rapmania! Mix) - Fan_3 (Disney's It's A Small World) they should not have this song on the album. First of all, the only time it reminds me of the original song is the choras when the kids sing it with bumps in the song (i think she's trying to make it sound cool) but it's not. This song is for wanna-be-punk-rock-star 5 year olds who don't mind annoying sounds. 2/5
5. The Bare Necessities - Bowling for Soup (The Jungle Book) I love this song! It was a good choice to have Bowling for Soup sing this because even when it was first on the Jungle Book it sounded a little bit rock-edgy. I am a total fan of BFS since ther song "1985" and luckilly I still am their fan. One of my favorite songs on this album. 5/5
6. I won't say (I'm In Love) - Cheetah Girls (???) I won't say I like this song. I remember seeing the Cheetah Girls' music videos on Disney Channel and they always seemed alright. But on this album, I could hear some notes out of tune and it's annoying to hear: Sha La La La La every 2 minutes. But besides that, it's a good song. Just one thing, anybody know why Raven isn't on here??? 4/5
7. Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah - Aly & A.J. (???) Many of you know Alyson Michalka from the new disney channel movie NOW YOU SEE IT... and PHIL OF THE FUTURE playing the role of Keely. From that episode where Phil tried to help Keely overcome stagefright, I knew Alyson had a good voice. But also her sister does too. Her newest song "Do you believe in magic" shows that both of them are great singers (much better than Hilary Duff). They tweaked it a little to make it rocky, but still love it. 5/5
8. Kiss the girl - Vitamin C (???) Another s0-s0 song. I never really liked Vitamin C so it's not one of my favorite songs. 4/5
9. Part of your world - Skye Sweetnam (The Little Mermaid) I think this was much better than what Jessica Simpson did on DM1. Skye makes it sound much more interesting and I don't mind the rock. 5/5
10. Colors of the wind - Christy Carlson Romano (Pochahauntous) not the type of song for Christy. I like her and I like the song, but I feel that Christy doesn't try hard enough because I can still hear some low points while she is singing. But it's still all right. 5/5
11. Proud of your boy - Clay Aiken (Aladdin) I never liked Clay Aiken. I thought he was weird and did not have a good voice. I think Simon, Paula & Randy made a good choice to not have Clay win. Because of his voice, I rate this song a 4/5
12. Strangers like me - Everlife (I think Jungle Book) Who is this band Everlife? Their all right but not my favorite on this album. Not my favorite song either. 4/5
13. A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes - Kimberly Locke (Cinderella) Kimberly shows her talent in this song. I think that it was very tough for the judges on AI to pick the best one between Ruben & Kimberly (Clay was just bad see 11) because they both have really good voices. 5/5
14. Cruella De Vil - Lalaine (101 Dalmations) the first time this song has played on the DM albums. It's all right. 4/5
The last song by Jesse McCartney shows bad vocals by him. 4/5
Overall, I think this is a good cd. Although with some fillers, it still beats the other two by this much...
Free Music Review: Disneymania 3 "Because 2 is not enough!"

I LOVED Disneymania 3! I had been a fan since the first one, and I was very excited to see that Disney was releasing a 3rd version of the series of CDs.
1. Under the Sea - Raven-Symone (The Little Mermaid) I was never a fan of Raven, so that might've soured my opinion on this song. But really, she tries to sing it like Sebastian in the movie, and failed. Still good, though. 2/5
2. Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride - Jump5 (Lilo & Stitch) LOVE IT! After I picked it up, I said, "They should've made a different song choice." But after listening to it a lot, I changed my mind! Kudos to Brittany & Lesley for hitting those hard vocals. 5/5
3. A Whole New World (Aladdin) - Jessica Simpson & Nick Lachey -- I didn't like this song very much. The whole reason why I put up with listening to this the first time was because I think Nick was terrific! 3/5
4. It's a Small World (???) Fan_3 --- I didn't like this song. I think Fan_3 should leave this song to Baha Men. (Even though I didn't really like their version in the first place.) 1/5

I think that this was a good song. Starts out slow. Very nice. 4/5
6. I Won't Say (I'm in Love) (Hercules) The Cheetah Girls -- I really liked this song. I loved The Cheetah Girls from the movie and music video. They do a terrific job on this. One question: Why isn't Raven with them? I think that the other girl was terrific with the lead vocals, though! 4/5
7. Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah (Song of the South) - Aly & A.J. -- I think that this was the best version of Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah! I really like the rock that was put into it. That's what happens with some of these songs. They're good! 5/5
8. Kiss the Girl (The Little Mermaid) - Vitamin C -- This was an okay song. Not my favorite, but still good. 3/5
9. Part of Your World (The Little Mermaid) Skye Sweetnam -- This was TERRIFIC!! One of my favs. Skye did an excellent job on the vocals. I didn't know that this song could be done so well! 5/5
10. Colors of the Wind (Pochohantas) - Christy Carlson Romano --
Definitely not Christy's best. I liked her voice from what I had heard. But she didn't do a very good job on this one. Still good. 3/5
11. Proud of Your Boy (Aladdin) - Clay Aiken -- Well, this song isn't my favorite, but it's still good. Clay Aiken was terrific on his other albums, so I thought he'd do good on this. And he came up to my expectations. Again, he gives a great showing. 4/5
12. Strangers Like Me (Tarzan) - Everlife -- I've never heard of Everlife and didn't know what to expect. Expect good! This was a wonderful song. Phil Collins originally wrote this, only to make way for this! Everlife has sung a great version of this classic song. 5/5
13. A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes (Cinderella) - Kimberly Locke -- Not the best. Too slow in my opinion. I like more pop/rockish songs, and this was a very slow song. I can tell you that Kimberly Locke does have a wonderful voice, though. 2/5
14. Cruella De Vil (101 Dalmatians) - LaLaine -- Good. LaLaine (Miranda from Lizzie McGuire) did a good job with this song. I listened to her on "Pixel Perfect" soundtrack, and she was okay. She still is okay in my opinion, but she went up. 4/5
15. When You Wish Upon a Star (Pinnochio) - Jesse McCartney --
I was expecting high with this song. I loved the way he put some rock into "Second Star to the Right" in DM2, and I am a big fan of him. This was a bad choice. I think that he should've chosen a more popish song. Still good voice. 2/5

"Disneymania 3" is positively an AWESOME cd!At first,I was cautious about getting this album because "Disneymania 2" wasn`t that good.But with this album,they had a huge comeback!I love this album!
1.Under The Sea(Raven)8/10-At first I did not like this song.But,then I realized it kinda had a groovy feel to it!We all have to admit,Raven does sound kinda werid singing this song,because she tries to talk like Sebastian!It ok otherwise,though.
2.Hawiann Roller Coaster Ride(Jump5)10/10-I hated the version in the Lilo And Stitch original movie,but I loved this version!Jump5 kinda rocked it up a little!Now,I have to admit,I might just love this song because Jump5 is my all-time favorite group!
3.A Whole New World(Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson)10/10-Nick and Jessica sound great singing this song!It`s a beautiful balled,and it is SO much better than LMMT`s version on Disneymania 2!
4.It`s A Small World(fan_3)2/10-Let me warn you fans of the ride...this is NOT it`s a small world!fan_3 totally messed the song up,and the only lyrics from the song are "It`s a small world after all"!The rest is just her rapping her STUPID rap!
5.The Bare Nessesities(Bowling For Soup)10/10-At first,this is a country guitar version of Bare Nessities,but then it rocks up and Bowling For Soup starts singing!!!I really like this song!
6.I Won`t Say(I`m In Love)(The Cheetah Girls)10/10-I had never heard this song before,but when I heard it on this cd,I thought it was a nice pop song!I was kinda dissapointed Raven didn`t sing this one with them,though.But otherwise,this is a great song!
7.Zip A Dee Doo Da(Aly and A.j.)9/10-Aly and A.j are new to the Disney scene,and they`re pretty good,and this song is no exepsion!It`s a really good version of the song based on the musical in Disney`s film,"The Song Of The South".
8.Kiss The Girl(Vitamin C)5/10-I`m not a big fan of this one.I just don`t think Vitamin C gives it it`s touch.No Secret`s version on Disneymania 1 was much better!
9.Part Of Your World(Skye Sweetnam)10/10-The best version of this song i`ve EVER heard!Skye does very well on it!
10.Colors Of The Wind(Christy Carlson Ramano)-This song is BEAUTIFUL!I love it!Christy has a wonderful voice!
The rest of the songs are pretty bad.EXEPT Everlife`s "Strangers Like Me"That one is a great song!

Under The Sea- Raven Symone 5/5 I think Raven did a good job in
this song because her voice sounded awsome and the beat to the
music was actually nice.
Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride- Jump5 5/5 Okay...The boys in this
song and the girls in this song had exellent voices from begining
to end.And I like the Hawaiian beat to it.
A Whole New World-Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson 5/5I love
this song!It has good beat and the best part about this song is that it has 3 new tones to it.
It's A Small World (Rapmania!Mix)-Fan_3 5/5 I love the rap in this song because I thought Lil'Romeo sang that rap.Also it really goes with the song.
The Bare Necessites-Bowling For Soup 4/5 OMG! I love this song
to and everything but the guy in Bowling For Soup that had a voice was okay but not what I expected.
I Won't Say (I'm In Love)-The Cheetah Girls 5/5 I love this song
