Free Music Notes for Indestructible

Free Music Review: Inarguable completely Indestructible
Hit: 5 Stars

The album of Disturbed keeping an amazing metal/rock beat and will get you pumped up and feeling indestructible which is also the name of the album released on June 3, 2008. The songs throughout the CD seems to keep the tone and overall hardcore song. This isn't something you listen to on down time. As for CDs go this one is best metal and rock CD combine into one. It is an awesome album and the pumped up angry sounds keep you going. You would think listening to songs with a hardcore metal nature would just make you more pissed off when in reality it seem they calm you down more, because it is just the sounds and the heavy drum beats that keep your heart racing, but make you forget what you were mad at. This CD as for most metal music is a way vent your anger with 12 tracks of pure metal/rock songs. The Disturbed is the perfect band for anyone who love rock or metal it is a great median most bands try to achieve but for the most part Disturbed as found it most recently in these 2 CDs Ten Thousand Fist, and Indestructible. On the metal side the growling and screaming and for the rock side actually being able to understand what they are saying. The sounds the songs produced is also a great median the heavy drum beats for the metal side and the guitar solos for the rock side. Disturbed has appealed to both fan bases successful. This is one band you can't argue is better for metal or rock.
Many of the songs on this album carry dark tones and if you're looking for ballads well to answer that look at the name Indestructible does it sound like there would be any slow songs on this album. Nope I didn't think so. The story placed in the lyrics are shocking such as Inside The Fire the story of the devil tempted the leader to join his girlfriend who committed suicide. In this CDs there are many references to demons, fighting, killing, the devil, and war with demon growling and voices located especially in the song Perfect Insanity which is about losing your mind and just wanting to escaped but you already lost it. The best song on the CD to me is Enough which about taking everything and when will it be enough. The best part to enough is the chorus, because even when your soul is broken this song you still can't get enough. Enough is also the closes thing on the album to be a ballad but Disturbed does a fantastic job of keeping the rock/metal song intertwined in the song.
I rate this album a 5/5 because of the great median found in the songs and how metal/rock fans will not want to miss out on the album. This is perfect album for anyone who likes metal/rock or even just one of them. Make yourself Indestructible and you're CD collection. This isn't something you hardcore metal and rock fans want to miss out on. This something both fan bases can agree on the unbelievable sounds, lyrics, and songs on the album. I glad I didn't miss out on one of Disturbed greatest CDs.

Free Music Review: Color Me Impressed!
Hit: 5 Stars

Let me start out by saying that I am not really a fan of any radio or mainstream music in general. Not because I am closed minded at all, but rather the music is generally too simplistic and dumbed down for mass appeal. After growing up a metal fan and sticking with metal bands like Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Metal Church etc.. even through the alternative grunge years, I just couldn't simplify myself and accept a lot of these bands after I had heard so much better before. It was also hard to respect any of this music as a guitar player because it was so easy and unchallenging to play.

Eventually metal started slowly coming back again in the underground led by great but unknown bands like Nevermore (who Disturbed rightfully took on their European tour), Iced Earth, Evergrey, Symphony X, Brainstorm, etc... Now even a mainstream act like Disturbed, who started out as nu-metal, have mostly shed all of those aspects and have morphed into a more traditional modernized metal sound with guitar solos and everything! Funny how just a few years ago bands like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest were mocked and made fun of in the US, yet ironically now being labeled as nu-metal is considered uncool? Ahh we're such a trendy country with little integrity musically aren't we?

Anyway Disturbed is a mainstream act I like, although I can't think of any others (maybe Sevendust as well if you consider them mainstream). With their new effort 'Indestructable' I find myself liking and respecting them even more. I am glad there is actually a good mainstream metal/rock act out there and I do not hate on them like so many 'metal elitists' choose to. This album is a little more complex for Disturbed. It's not as catchy as TTF and actually challenges the listener a little more. Dan's guitar solos have been taken up a notch and most songs have a guitar solo! Good to know corporate radio stations are actually allowing solos now! Hasn't killed anybody yet has it? What's next, is 'Fall Out Boy' actually going to get heavier? Well it might take a few testosterone injections into those boys but you never know?

Bottom line is this is probably Disturbed's best and most METAL album yet! Good job guys! Maybe there is actually a shred of hope for good bands with actual talent to be heard in America. But note (WARNING) to the band: If real metal becomes uncool or not the 'In Thing' again please do not drop soloing and revert back to the trendy sound of the month! You will be respected more in the long run if you keep your integrity rather than chase the trend. Do I need to give any better example than 'Metallica'???

Respect....for now!

Free Music Review: I'M NOT FREE TO BE AS TWISTED AS I WANNA BE
Hit: 5 Stars

Although I'm generally into various genres of music, my cohorts and I were afraid that the artists we tend to have affinity for were being suppressed by the money hungry industry. It seemed that metal was doomed from having that edge anymore. Even Disturbed, I was beginning to think may have even became "destructible."

I wanted to know what happened to the bands that ushered in the 21st millennium. Korn, Linkin Park, Staind, Sevendust, Godsmack, Disturbed... Simply put "would there ever be another CD like THE SICKNESS."

When I bought BELIEVE I thought it was really good but I was really depressed at the follow up to such greatness. Then the dimissal of Fuzz on bass. However, I wasn't too upset because the hired gun, John Moyer from 'The Union Underground' was a great replacement. Then came TEN THOUSAND FISTS. It showed that Disturbed does still have some hardness yet honestly I wound up not listening to this one as much.

As a member of Disturbed1 I'm sorry I didn't order the $35 ltd. ed. of their new release from them, because as soon as I bought the domestic release, I put it in and instantly I heard something I've been seeking for a long time. Disturbed is INDESTRUCTIBLE.

This CD is hard + heavy and it rocks and the momentum is carried throughout the entire album. In fact, "Inside the Fire" is only a tick of what these dogs have to offer. And the best part is, it only gets better as the disc plays. See I'm like a closeted d.j. who is seeking for what is my favorite track from the get-go. So I'm listening to "Criminal" and I'm like, Yeah! This is it!!! But no "Criminal" is my 2nd fave because "Divide" just does it for me. It got my head banging like it ought to be. Oh and the line "So tell me now just what exactly does freedom mean... If I'm not free to be as twisted as I wanna be..." I was like at the peak of my high. Well, when it was all over. I played it all over again several times throughout the day. Then it hit me, I'll do something I haven't done in a long time... write a review.

Conclusion: this is not THE SICKNESS but this is a very close second though. This is my second best Disturbed CD!!! <3

Free Music Review: A MUSICAL MASTERPIECE and an ALL-OUT ONSLAUGHT ON THE LISTENER
Hit: 5 Stars

I first wrote a review about this album saying how bad I thought it was. But, that was because I didn't give the album a good enough chance for it to possibly grow on me. After hearing "Indestructible" and "Inside The Fire" about 10 times on the Disturbed website, it finally did. I subsequently deleted that review. This album is an extremely well crafted group of heavy metal compositions that are mindblowing to the listener once the listener "learns" these songs extremely well, 'inside and out'. I finally accomplished this today after hearing the entire album two times back to back on my stereo system, at an awesome loud volume! But, I heard it many other times previously, in my quest at learning and memorizing these songs, which is not an easy task as these songs are very complex. This is most likely Disturbed's best album to date. David pours his whole heart into each and every song on this album. You can hear this while you listen to each song, especially evident is his voice changing a little bit for each song; for the uniqueness of each song; which goes to show how much David Draiman put into these songs, as well as the rest of the band members. I agree with the reviewer T.Gardner that this may well be the best heavy metal album ever made. The instrumentals on this album are sooooooo hard and soooooooo memorable! They're mindblowing. All of these songs are my favorite; There is not one song on this album that can even be considered 'mediocre'; each and every song is absolutely top notch, highest quality songs. But, my 'favorite of favorites' on this album is "The Curse". That style of song from Disturbed is my personal favorite style of song from them. This type of style is evident on their other albums as well, such as in the song "Guarded" from 'Ten Thousand Fists', or "Voices" from 'The Sickness'. If you like heavy metal at all, do yourself a huge favor and buy this album. You will love it and cherish it 'till the day you die. Disturbed will never let their listeners down, which is what I eventually found out. DISTURBED IS FOREVER.

Free Music Review: Bringing the rock on
Hit: 5 Stars

For Disturbed, a new age rock band, this album surely rocks harder than you'd believe. Unlike a lot of Disturbed fans, I respected their last two releases, "Believe" and "10000 Fists", a lot...almost even more than their first release, "The Sickness". A lot of people bash Dave as a person, because apparently he comes off cocky. Regardless, he is an amazing vocalist, and he proves it once again on this disc. All the expectations have been correct on this album. They literally have no problem mixing all three albums together to form a hard-rock masterpiece known as "Indestructible". The entire album rocks from start to finish, without any really lame tracks to interrupt it. Some stand out tracks are "Into the Fire" which is a great single for the radio stations, but does not go soft at all. "Deceiver" is a really heavy rocker from your typical modern rock group, that makes most of "The Sickness" album seem calm. "Perfect Insanity" is rather different and faster than what we are used to from these guys, and it's quite a radio track as well. The drums are a lot more complicated on this album, and definitely faster than we all would have expected, which proves Dave's interview right on how heavy this album was going to be. You can also expect some guitar solos that is going to shock you beyond belief. For a band who is not exactly considered metal, the song "Divide" really knocks your socks off. It's heavy riffing with the double-bass drumming, really amplifies a strong sound. Not only is it the heaviest song on this disc (opinion), but maybe one of the heaviest songs this band has ever recorded. I recommend this album to any hard-rock/metal fan, Disturbed fan, or anyone looking for something modern, with a little old-school included. I hear they do not put on an exciting show or anything, but I would recommend their tour this summer with Slipknot. I imagine these songs will get the crowd pumped up.
