Free Music Review: Call it a hit, great work!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

This album really stands from Disturbed's previous albums, this is the Disturbed I like, no fillers here. Finally some really good music from these guys, a bit of details here:

Indestrucible- this song gives the album name, 5/5 Really catchy lyrics

Inside the fire- The song everyone has heard, 5/5 For those fans thinking if the rest of this album is as good as this song... They are so... Buy IT!!!

Deceiver- One of my favorites here great vocals 5/5

The night- Also David gives us some good vocals on this one too 5/5

Perfect Insanity- A more fast paced song yet really strong 4/5, I like the last verse when David goes with the vocals style that defined Disturbed in the beginning

Haunted- 4/5, Strong and powerful song, one of the best here too.

Enough- This is the kick ass in my opinion, my favorite on the album, the chorus really stands for itself... full of emotion well given 5/5

The curse- this one is really good, 3/5 great solo there...

Torn- 4/5, melodic vocals, with great riffs

Criminal- Starts really good, with cool drumming, then changes into more of a nod your head style- 5/5, another grat one here

Divide- 5/5, great guitar solo, one of my favs

Facade- the last song of the album yet one of the most lyrically driven songs from disturbed, 4/5 great finisher...

In conclusion, this album is really well made, for those fans like me let know that disturbed is still the same quality music makers we know them to be... Dave's voice here is really top notch... Every 5/5 is a possible hit
I let the album play without skipping to the good ones, why????

cause Disturbed's Indestructible speaks for itself- Quality
These guys made my year with this album... Go get it, if you have it, rock it!!

Free Music Review: The group we love, with some very subtle changes
Hit: 5 Stars

Ever since the first time I heard "Down With the Sickness" play during the end credits of "Dawn of the Dead", I've been a fan of Disturbed. Perhaps the most alluring aspect of their style is their ability to play rock with all the growl that we see from other metal bands while avoiding the ever-present screaming. Instead, Disturbed utilizes the rough, powerful (and, dare I say, emotional) voice of their lead singer (David Draiman) with a sort of "trademark" shout to make every song powerful even without the constant unintelligible screams. To me, Disturbed has elevated the genre to a more respectable level not only by avoiding the scream-metal route, but also by writing lyrics which range from sorrowful to angry and sometimes even excited by such emotions. Any fan of hard rock will find something interesting about this group, especially if you are tired of the same old screaming rock so prevalent in today's hard rock and metal music.

Something that I found very interesting about this particular album was that there were some songs which had melodic qualities typically not appreciated in Disturbed songs (as in, there were points were David Draiman was actually singing with a softer tone, creating a fantastic contrast to the grinding guitar in the backdrop). Also, they utilize cursing in a way that is restrained, instead of throwing expletives at you every other word. While some people may see all of this as a mark against the group, I felt refreshed with their decision. Rest assured, however, this album is unmistakably Disturbed material, and fans will not be dissapointed.

So I heartily recommend Indestructible to any rock fan (whether it's hard rock, metal, or nu-metal), as they bring something completely unique to genre which has become rather stale with the induction of so many "hard-rock" posers.

Free Music Review: The benefits of being old....
Hit: 5 Stars

Myself, I didn't much like _Ten Thousand Fists_--only two songs were memorable and one of them was a cover. I also don't like overtly political songs, for the simple reason that in five years, ten years, they're ancient.

The great news is that Disturbed apparently got that stuff out of their system and are back to doing what they do best. They're you younger generation's Iron Maiden--they are an institution unto themselves. Dave's unique voice and their signature syncopation changes are back, along with driving rhythms and that terrific 'wall of sound'. It's hard to believe this is just four guys, and all that noise isn't just distortion--there are very intricate rhythmic and melodic changes underneath.

Reviewers who have commented on alleged 'cheesiness' in this album really ought to listen to some King Diamond before they start throwing around silly accusations like that, or reading Brujiera lyrics. CHEEZY is death metal Cookie Monster vocals. And if you're looking for life-changing philosophy in a song-lyric, the problem lies with YOU and not with the band. I think Disturbed is aiming for 'dark' here, and they hit it spot on. And not many bands would use words like 'obdurate' in their lyrics. For that, I could kiss them. With tongue.

Some albums you have to listen to several times before songs 'grow' on you, and sometimes on the first listen, songs will reach out and grab your eardrums and won't let go. This album is definitely in that second category. They do feature a few 80s-esque guitar solos, which I think anyone who grew up with 80s/90s metal will appreciate rather than diss. It's a solid album that shows that they're secure enough in their own sound that they aren't going to sell out to the latest trend.

Though I do miss the usual 'cover song'. :(

Free Music Review: The Sounds Of The Indestructible
Hit: 5 Stars

After Ten Thousand Fists Hit the heavy rock and metal world It Showed Many that disturbed Can Keep there efforts as musicians Up and Gain Respect of the modern rock community so How do You follow up to an amazingly well received album like TTF? well that was the question of the early 2008 quarter as disturbed prepared us for there latest effort "Indestructible"

This Album Killed off a lot of doubt in the fans minds as far as whether or not disturbed can keep topping there previous albums with something as equally good if not better.

So on with whether it sucks or not, Well you see 5 Stars , so Theres your answer. This was intended to be a darker Heavier disturbed album compared to 10000 fists and it really is, the first track "indestructible" is a Heavy hitting opener, An can hype you up like no other, The two track i heard prior to the release, "Inside the fire" and "Perfect Insanity"
both project the darker heavy style this album was intended for, its like taking "The Sickness", "10000 Fists, a little more soloing and heaviness, and throwing it all into a blender.

Of Course We have Other Great Songs Like "The Night", and the meaning behind this song just for a little FYI, deal with the darkness inside everyone ,Cool huh?, "Haunted". another great track just entrances your Ear Drums from the technically of the song. "Criminal" is all around Catchy, And Another Great Track, "Facade" Hits the urge to blair your speakers even more

Overall the Album, Along with the cover which Todd Mcfarlene did a awesome job on. Is An Incredible Album , And shows That Disturbed Trend for Making Good music is Indestrutible

Free Music Review: beyond The Sickness
Hit: 5 Stars

And here, some Disturbed fans thought that the band had forgotten about them... I can see how they would think that, though, seeing as Disturbed did go on a five-year hiatus from the time Ten Thousand Fists released up until the debut of their new album. It would appear, though, that David and the Disturbed gang have most definitely not forgotten about their fans, the Disturbed Ones. Rather, Disturbed seems to have crafted their newest album specifically for their fans, including songs that they were positive would garner the most positive reactions from their fans. And let me tell you, it worked.

Indestructible seems to combine the best of everything that has made Disturbed what they are today: brutal guitar solos (best evidenced on "Torn" and "The Night"), complex drumlines (especially on "Haunted" and "Criminal") and David's penchant for delving deep into the dark reaches of ourselves, while still making it entertaining (see "Inside the Fire" and "Facade").

Personally, I would recommend every song off of Indestructible, but especially my favorite track from the album, "Haunted". It's one of the rare tracks in metal today that doesn't seem to be made as a possible radio hit, but just as a way of commenting on an issue that the artist deems important (i.e. a form of "social vampirism," as David puts it). Plus, it's just an overall awesome song.

So move over, The Sickness. Disturbed is back in town- and here's hoping we won't have to wait another five years for them to release their next album.
