Free Music Notes for Indestructible

Free Music Review: Hard, melodic... Just plain awesome actually
Hit: 5 Stars

First of all, I'm really getting tired of this fuss about whether they are metal or not. I don't care. I think they are, but it doesn't really matter! Let's talk about the MUSIC:

Disturbed is EASILY at their peak right now, and I highly doubt they will ever top this masterpiece. This IS their best album to date without question. Top to bottom there are no weak links, although on first listen you may disagree. This is an album that will hit you like a truck, but not everything will immediately grab hold of you. It took me about 3-5 listens or so to really get into all the songs. "The Night" is easily their most accomplished and well made song, with odd yet powerful riffs that are far from their norm. "Inside the Fire", "Criminal", and "Facade" are other standout tracks, but they seriously are all great songs-most of which are better than almost all their previous works. The vocals in this album are phenomenal, and play a huge part in the greatness of "Indestructible".

For those who love screaming and non-melodic music, you won't enjoy this. Yes, there are a few signature "Disturbed" yelps, but no screaming. There are catchy melodies, hard melodies, great vocals, great balance of music, and some very adequate drumming to keep most people's ears happy. If you don't believe me, look at this ratings this thing is getting: 4.5 stars outta 5 after 100 reviews. Seems like a winner to me.

Free Music Review: Disturbed! ...on their way to metal god status!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

i've been waiting for this cd to come out for a while now and when the 3rd finally rolled aroudn i was at target when the doors first opened. i have to say im proud to be the first customer to purchase that cd that day at my local target. when i got to work i poped it in and started enjoying it. i think that i must have listened to it more than 3 full times yesterday. it is awsome. my girlfriend and i have been huge disturbed fans since the early days. its awsome that disturbed is a one of a kind band. ive tried hard to find other bands that sound like disturbed but i cant find any. this new cd has kept the same classic disturbed sound while allowing for an evolution with the band. it is hard for me to choose a song that stands out all of them are amazing in their own ways. indestructable the title track starts off the cd with an amzing punch and facade ends the cd in the same fassion. all 49 min are pure listening awsomness.
here are a few quick reference pro's and con's if you are still on the fense with buying the new disturbed album

Pro's
finally disturbed has a shreding guitar sound not heard on any previous albums
this cd will punch you in the face from start to finish.
lyrics are more understandable
lyrics take on multiple meanings

Con's
lead singer doesnt scream as much
music is more powerful than the singers voice

Free Music Review: Whether you call them nu metal or hard rock, they are DISTURBED and only that counts
Hit: 5 Stars

Like the title says, this album is indestructible (pun intended.) Ever since their debut, The Sickness, Disturbed has been cranking out album after album (all of them being good, especially Believe.) However, I'd thought I'd never see the day when their latest release would be just as good as Believe. And well, this is just as good as Believe, trust me. While having the political views from Ten Thousand Fists and the raw spirital journey from Believe, Indestructible pounds at all kinds of issues that we are facing. My favorite songs are Indestructible, Deceiver, The Night, Facade, Divide, and Perfect Insanity simply because they are all great songs and add all kinds of dept. Though it can be repetetive for some people since there are a few duds here and there, its still good enough for people to say that Disturbed are still the metal kings of this decade. Obviously this is something to crank to when that neighborhood chick with a razor cell phone starts playing "I'm in LURVE Wit A Stripper".

So what if that neighborhood country boy tells you Disturbed is "GAyZ0rz" while showing off his hammer or those gold-teethed apes that sit their scowling, holding a beer, and posing for facebook, or the " exkcstreasmz0rs DEAZH M3ta1zas" fans who criticize Disturbed for being mainstream, Indestructible will fill any thirsts for new stuff

Are you indestructible?

Free Music Review: More of the Same... Except Better!
Hit: 5 Stars

The new Disturbed CD, titled Indestructible shows a Disturbed that is even more polished and driven than the one we knew and loved in Ten Thousand Fists. The songs are absolutely relentless in a way they've never been before. There are no new tricks in this album, but there is a definite development of old ones.

They've gotten really good at implementing rhythms that contrast with the meter. They do this better in this album than they ever have yet to this point.

David's voice has been developing more and more into an instrument, rather than merely a means to put words to music. His voice has always been an integral part of their overall sound in a way that is rarely accomplished by rock bands (or any kind of musical group for that matter) because of his perfect pitch and because you can hear several overtones which makes his voice blend in well with the electric guitars and bass.

This album is not anything new for these guys, but it is part of a continued improvement to what they already have, which has been pretty steady throughout their careers (with the possible exception of their second album, Believe, which mostly sucked (except, of course, for the songs Prayer and Rise, which are arguably their two best originals to date)).

So expect more of the same from this album, but expect it to be better than ever.

Free Music Review: One of the best C.D.s I ever bought
Hit: 5 Stars

I love Disturbed. All of their music is awesome, but to hear them return to their roots with thier old school and heavy sound was even better. But then there are haters. I'm sick of everyone whining about Disturbed not being hardcore enough. They are Metal! Just listen to them! It sure as hell doesn't sound like emo or rap music! Does a band HAVE to be extremely hardcore to be Metal? I love Death Metal, Grindcore, Hardcore, Black Metal, you name it. But stuff like Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Korn, and Disturbed are Metal and everyone is like "Oh no no no, we don't like their music so they aren't considered Metal." Shut up. I'm sick of everyone whining about how it's not heavy enough or doesn't sound right. I love all forms of Metal, just some more tham others. And this, in my opinion is one of the best C.D.s I've ever bought.

Top five Metal C.D.s I have bought:
(In no specific order)

1. Indestructible-Disturbed
2. Kill-Cannibal Corpse
3. Sacrament-Lamb of God
4. Somewhere Back in Time-Iron Maiden
5. Obzen-Meshuggah

There are more artists I love listening to, but these are probably my favorite C.D.s that I have.

Now stop hating good music or saying it's not "Metal" enough, and start listening to good artists.
