Free Music Notes for Indestructible

Free Music Review: Another great release from Disturbed...
Hit: 5 Stars

It took me a few listens to really get involved with what they were trying to accomplish with Indestructible, but it is truly a great release. Its definitely not as immediately accessible as 10,000 Fists (which hits you right in the face instantly). But this is a super release, one that can be listened to from beginning to end over and over.

I never get sick of David Draimans voice, as he can go from harsh to growl to melodic in the same passage. He is for sure a great frontman and serious vocalist in the metal world.

The band is tighter than ever, and the tunes just pound and pound away at you. Its really a great listen, especially if you need a few spins and some time in between to get used to this new collection of music from Disturbed. Definitely a great addition to 2008's music. I pre-ordered it and would do the same again!!

Free Music Review: A really good effort.
Hit: 5 Stars

This album came a little later than I expected. That is to say, when 10000 Fists arrived I thought they would do a lot of things they did on this record, but did not do on their previous outing.

Indestructible moves toward a more thrashy sound, at least than before. Long gone are the days of The Sickness and even the similar sounding songs off the album Believe. While the first two tracks, "Indestructible," and "Inside the Fire," are really good. I appreciate that the guitarist steps out and solos more on this album than Disturbed three other efforts. While the middle of the record is not extremely strong, it does not feel like filler on their other albums. It does finish quite strong with the songs "Criminal," "Divide," and "Facade." Overall worth the purchase and more even than other similar artists like Mudvayne and Slipknots latest records.

Free Music Review: A Masterpiece
Hit: 5 Stars

When everyone hears the name Disturbed, they automatically think of "The Sickness." Well that may have been Disturbed then, but welcome to disturbed now. they still retain many of the elements present on all their albums, including the catchy guitar riffs and what not, but this album just goes above and beyond in so many ways. David Draiman has a phenomenal voice and he doesnt let a shred of it go to waste in this album. he belts out every song loud and clear, and i dont think there was a bad song on here. most cds now a days have a couple of songs that are really good and then the other songs are "just filler," but this is one of those CD's that every song is good. you will not be disappointed! if you are still unsure, go on to their myspace page and listen to some of the songs, im sure you will like what you hear.

Free Music Review: Listen to it all the way through more than once before you criticize
Hit: 5 Stars

This is the strongest album Disturbed has ever released. After hearing the single for "Inside the Fire" I was instantly hooked. However after purchasing the album I was disappointed with the other songs after the first run-through. However I gave it another chance and listened to the whole album straight through the following day. I'm not sure what my problem was on that first day but after I listened to it again I gained a deeper appreciation for the music. This may not be their heaviest album ("The Sickness" can still claim that) but this is their darkest. It is also the most well balanced musically. If you listen to the albums in the order they were released you can hear how their sound has grown and matured over the past several years. I look forward to many more years of great music from DISTURDED.

Free Music Review: 3rd Time is a charm but 4th Time is a smash!
Hit: 5 Stars

Disturbed made a massive comeback with 'Ten Thousand Fists'. The return of the screaming David Draiman shot Disturbed back up the charts as one of the best Metal bands out there. I had no idea they had 'Indistructable' on the way, but I was glad to hear about it one week before the release. This album is awesome its got everything a Disturbed fan can wan with the self titled track, 'Into The Fire' 'The Night', the list keeps going. Still there was one track that really stood out for me that was 'Perfect Insanity' Here was a song that had something I had never heard from Disturbed (correct me if I am wrong) There was the classic shreading of old school '80s Metal! If this is a direction Distubed plans on heading these guys will be up there with the greats of hard and loud music.
