Free Music Notes for Indestructible

Free Music Review: Ten Thousand More Fists
Hit: 5 Stars

I just picked this up yesterday after really getting into Ten Thousand Fists. I'm an older fan (45) and had only cursory Disturbed experience (Stupify, etc.), then guitar hero got me interested and I "found" Ten Thousand Fists, and it's been the only thing in my cd player since. So I was jacked-up when I first saw the ad a couple of months ago for "Indestructible."

I see a few reviews here are complaining that it sounds too much like the previous album. For me, that's a big positive. I've seen too many bands try to "change" and end up trying to find their way back. Anyway, I'm sure that many reviews here will painstakingly go through each song and give more info than anyone needs, so I will simply say that I'm loving this album as much as Ten Thousand.

Free Music Review: At The Top Of Their Game
Hit: 5 Stars

Indestructible belongs in the music collections of all metal fans. Alternative Metal, Nu-Metal, basically any kind of heavy music lover will really enjoy this album. The guitars chug along, heavy riffs abound at every turn, the music is rich with melody, and the vocals keep it dark and powerful. David Draiman (lead singer of the band) has an awesome voice that he has total control over, and with the other contributions the members of this group make it works out great from all angles. I also have a previous album of Disturbed called "The Sickness" and while I really like that one too, I didn't like every track, unlike with Indestructible, where every track is either good or great. To all metal fans, pick up this CD. You really can't go wrong here.

Free Music Review: One Of the Best Albums Ever Released
Hit: 5 Stars

This is easily one of the best albums that I have ever listened to. I was a Disturbed fan before, and I am more so now. All of the songs are clearly understandable, and none of them sound the same. At all. Some bands, like Slipknot (which I am also a fan of), make some music that sounds the same every once in a while. On this album, none of the songs sound the same and are clearly understandable. There are guitar solos in almost every song, and they all sound cool. The first track, titled "Indestructible," is a great start to a great album. It starts out with tornado alarms and gunfire, then the band gets going. It really is a great album. Anyone who likes rock, metal, nu-metal, whatever, can buy this and enjoy it.

Free Music Review: Best Album Since The Sickness
Hit: 5 Stars

I've been rather bored with Disturbed's releases ever since their Nu Metal Debut. You see, alot of people hate nu metal. I love it. Regardless, this is a wonderful treat for those who are bored with run of the mill metal! AND COMING FROM ONE OF IT'S FORERUNNERS! How exciting to see a popular band actually deserve to be popular! This CD is wonderful, and you can tell that the Vocalist actually uses his VOICE in this one! I felt that his voice was not only a weapon, but an instrument! And I felt it was underutilized in the last two albums.

Anyway, buy this album if you're looking at this page. Buy it if you like Disturbed. Buy it if you like Rock, Metal, Industrial, Ska, Punk, Pop WHATEVER. Just Buy It.

Free Music Review: Mission Accomplished
Hit: 5 Stars

If the Disturbed boys aimed to created the best CD of their musical career, I'd say they did it.
Upon first listen, I would have only rated this album four stars, but the second go-round this morning has me leaning toward five.
I am a Tool-elitist, and it has been a few years since I've been hard-core into Disturbed, but Indestructible is sucking me back in.
David's voice in top-form. Full of emotion that ranges much further than the typical hard-rock anger. I get goosebumps listening to his words. Dan, Mike, and John no doubt put as much energy into creating this masterpiece.
I am thrilled to find music to feel passionate about. Disturbed has surprised me once again.
