Okay, I'm expecting an endless number of negative feedbacks from Anti-Chicks for this review (and that's perfectly fine with me). This 2-disc set proves, without a doubt, that country music wouldn't be complete without these 3 women. Political comments aside, the music is outstanding (as always). And that's exactly what this release is about, the true fans and THE MUSIC! The comments Natalie made takes nothing away from the fact that the Chicks are masters of their craft. Anti-Chicks can bash Natalie, Martie, and Emily all they want, but the music will always speak for itself. Natalie is human and should be forgiven for her unfortunate mistake.Free Music Review: The Music DOES speak for itself!!

This new disc from the Chicks is great from start to finish. If you didn't get to catch them on their Top Of The World tour (as I didn't) then this CD is a must, if you DID catch them, you'll want this disc. If you're one of those fairweather fans you turned your back with all the controversy, maybe you should give them another shot. This album has all the stuff you'd want and it's a fun listen. You will want to pick up the companion DVD as well, it's a few songs shorter, but you get to see the Chicks in action (very well shot by the way) and you get to see their very cool new video for "Top Of The World". This is a great CD- top notch instrumentation,powerful vocals, and harmonies (there are a LOT of so-called "musicians" who can't play a note on any instrument-not the case with these empirically, multi-talented ladies). I see that there are several reviews saying there are no new songs on the CD (hello-did you read the play list before you bought the CD?).
The big difference in a live CD is the energy of a live performance/audience vs. studio production. The Chicks deliver in a big way in both venues.
For those of you who don't have all their other CD's this would be a great way to get the "best" all on one CD!

I have listened to this album so many times I lost count. It is utterly essential listening for anyone into this music scene. This has not left my CD case even once, except to listen to it over and over. Have you ever shuddered when listening to a really great song? Do you ever get goosebumps or feel a tingle when you are deeply touched by a peice of music or a good book or film? Do you choke up a little when your favorite tune comes on. This record did that for me. I like every song, but the first track is the very best. I demand that you fork your hard-earned money over ... and get this record. EXCUSE ME!!!! There is a new song on the album called Mississippi, so quit your complaining. I bought the album just yesterday, and it rocks. All the songs on the album DO sound different than the other albums and it is worth the money to get something a little different. It makes u feel like ur at the show. so i give it 5 stars. about the george bush thing. people have to get over that, natalie let it slip and said sorry. nobody is perfect and u could look in the mirror and see crap u did too. so get over it. u may not agree or approve with what they did but u can still like the person.
