Unlike many performers who need a lot of help to cover their onstage flaws, the Dixie Chicks are superb live -- both instrumentally and vocally -- and well worth the price of admission. This 2-CD album is a great value with so many hits in one package and stellar renditions of all of the songs. As for those who trash the Dixie Chicks because of their political views, history will show the truth about the current regime just as it did about McCarthy and Nixon (who also had their rabid supporters). For now, please just review the quality of the music and quit parading your ignorance.Free Music Review: American Women

I'm glad the Dixie Chicks have stayed strong through the smear campaign waged against them last year. The mood of the country is changing and with it I'm sure many Chicks fans are regretting the burning and bulldozing their Chick CDs. Thankfully, true fans, like the ones at http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/chicksupport/ , have stood by them. They are good women who love their country and it's a shame they were treated so horribly. With songs on this album like "Traveling Soldier" it's amazing anyone could question their patriotism. OK! So the Dixie Chix put their foot in their mouth. Yes, we have freedom of speach, and along with it comes taking the flac from what you say. And they have been hailed on mightily. I would recommend the DVD they made about the incident. They have paid heavily for this, but they have also gone on. Country won't have them, but there are a lot different kinds of music lovers out there. I enjoy their music, I enjoy their lyrics, I enjoy their sense of humor. I very much enjoyed this CD. This CD by the Dixie Chicks is a testament to their talent. They are LIVE and they sound amazing. How many supposed artists can sing for hours and sound as good (if not better)than in their recorded versions? These women can play --they are consummate musicians. They can sing -- hitting every note effortlessly. And, they put on a heck of a show. I could not get tickets to their concerts because they were sold out. But, this CD sure makes me feel like I was there. What a great collection of music and a wonderful CD! Buy it. You won't be disappointed.Free Music Review: Fabulous

This CD is incredible. I can't believe they sound so good live. Not sure how "Faith" from Austin, TX can be so critical of the Dixie Chicks. Just because she is a Republican, it doesn't mean she has to criticize them. I am really tired of people saying they do not like the Dixic Chicks because of their political views. I could care less what they believe in politically, I like them because they are unbelievably talented and gifted women. They will continue to have much success in the future. And Faith, stick to politics and not music!
