Free Music Notes for Doctor Who Original Music from Series 3Free Music Review: They did it again... Hit: 5 Stars
another great soundtrack from Doctor Who. Once again, Murray Gold has created exceptional, movie quality music for the third series. From All The Strange, Strange Creatures to the haunting Martha's Theme and the creepy Blink, it's superb. I love it. Now on to the fourth series!
Free Music Review: Fantastic music Hit: 5 Stars
If you are a Dr Who fan and enjoy the music just as much as the stories (let's face it, the music is part of the story) then this is a great little CD to have. You will know instinctively which piece of music belongs to which episode or character. Well worth it. Enjoy
Free Music Review: love it Hit: 5 Stars
Love it so much, I put "all the strange strange creatures" as my ringtone. The Dream of a Normal Life evokes such emotion all on its own...ALl the music is amazing.
Free Music Review: Great Music for a great show Hit: 5 Stars
This music is awesome. The show has come a long way and so has the music. It is truly epic in scale and grandly executed.
Free Music Review: Great Stuff! Hit: 4 Stars
The music is excellent for the third series of the new Doctor Who. I particularly loved the creepy feeling that the Blink music had -- still creeps me out when I hear it! The best part, I think, is all the music surrounding the three part finale -- so energetic and so ominous! The only disappointment is that the "Devil in Me" song was not done by the original actress. I'm not sure why it is decided, now twice, that the original performer should not render that performance for the soundtrack. The soundtrack to the first series has a very non-compatible voice singing "A Song in Ten", or whatever the name of that song is -- the one that is sung during the first Christmas Special "The Christmas Invasion". That singer is far better a lounge or jazz singer where this song is actually more energetic and light hearted. The original singer was great, but they, unwisely in my opinion, chose someone else to perform it. Both of these soundtracks are great, but honestly I like the Third Series soundtrack better. I was disappointed when they didn't include the new theme song. Other than that, it is really great!! :)
