Free Music Review: DFD = The Greatest Band Ever

It's been almost 6 years since AOGT was released and like a fine wine it only gets better with age. It boggles my mind that this band never got the apprecation, exposure and recognition they deserved. Thankfully, the Mr. Bungle rip-off furor has died down considerably over the years, it should never have started! DFD recently called it quits after 10+ years of relentless touring and the desire to move on to other projects. They will be sorely missed as the music industry is going through another cycle of trying to identify the "next big thing" which should have been DFD many years ago. Their 3 labels Spitfire, Artemis and recently Rotten regretably never provided the financial support the band needed to tour overseas and expand their fanbase. With the release of their latest album Adultery, a masterpiece of epic proportions, they went out on top. How many bands can say that? AOGT got me into the band and for those reviewers who gave the album 1 star, the number of people who found your reviews helpful speaks for itself. Mr. Bungle had great moments but DFD made great albums. Their musicianship and live shows were unmached and they never made a bad song, I love them all. For those just now getting into DFD buy all their albums as they will be collectors items someday and hopefully sometime in the near future they will reunite. For those of you who missed them when they were in your area shame on you as there will never be another band this great!
