Free Music Review: A must have CD for all die-hard Keanu fans

This CD is extremely hard to get your hands on. It isn't sold in shops, it isn't sold on any website, and believe me, I have tried every website. Eventually, I came to Ebay, where I paid a pretty penny to get my grubby mitts on this - it was cheap to start with, until some idiot started bidding against me. Ha, they lost. It's quite disappointing how short this album actually is - 11 tracks, and only 39 minutes worth of actual music. But by God, it's bloody worth the money I paid. I was bidding for both Quattro Formaggi and Our Little Visionary, but someone kept outbidding me, much to my frustration. They want it that badly, they can have it! There are plenty of copies to get, so if you desperately need your hands on a copy, go to Ebay and type in Dogstar - you will not regret it.

There are a lot of great tracks on this album, and I look forward to hearing the other two. I'm disappointed that Keanu doesn't actually sing - although I'm sure he does on track 3 "Enemies". But he probably doesn't have that great a singing voice. Also there is a cover of "Superstar", originally done by the Carpenters. Bret Dumrose's voice is perfect on this particular track, and captures Karen Carpenter's essence that she had on the original.

Dogstar had a lot of potential in them, and I could have seen them fitting in the music scene in the UK at the moment - they have a rocky edge, and the charts are full of it, and most of it isn't half as great as Dogstar. It's a shame they have now split, and Keanu is now part of a band called "thebeckyband", although that's all I've heard. I can't really see him ever being part of a band for long - his movie career will always get in the way.

This is a great album, and god help me if I don't start playing it to everyone and anyone! Now I just need a private performance please ... :)
