Free Music Review: Genra defining music for the steampunk vision

The true spirit of this album is captured in "Road to the light, heavy cocoon, a stimulant, beautiful fields, coronation, lost friend, Dreams of Fathers, Last Exile, and Over the sky(angel feather version). Besides that still the whole cd is awesome. It truly captures the feelings of an adventure in the sky in such majesty, depth, and beauty. What actually got me into the whole Last Exile series was one night a saw a glimpse of one of the episodes. but I was very tired so I fell asleep. The next day I was searching for free music on line to listen to and I came across some of the music to Last Exile. TO be exact it was the song: "Road to the light." When I saw it listed I was like: "Hey, isnt that that one show that is on tech tv?" And so I listened to it and I was blown away. After that I was hooked and at the time the show would come on at 2:00 and so up I stayed watching it. And years later I would come to own the whole series and its soundtracks. Anyways, there isnt too much more to say to appraise this cd. Its just so amazing, especially "dreams of fathers." It is one of those songs that can take you higher and higher in the skies. Literally that's the feelings I felt when I first heard it. The vocal tracks are really good, especially "head in the clouds." They have an interesting airiness about them. One reviewer said that the first ost eclipses this one. I respectfully disagree, both cd's capture each side of the Last Exile series. The first ost captures the more serious tone of the series while the second ost captures the majesty and beauty of the skies and adventures.
