Free Music Review: Soothing for the restless

I have a 3 month old son who fights sleep- even when he's overtired and can barely hold his eyes open. I got this CD when he was about 6 weeks old and started working it into his nap time routine. It didn't immediately put him to sleep, as some people have said it does for their children, but he did start to listen and stop fussing long enough to calm down and eventually go to sleep. Since then (he's 14 weeks now), I've used this CD most afternoons when settling him down for a nap. It won't put him to sleep if he's not tired, but if he's showing any signs of sleepiness, he'll usually drift off by the 6th track with little or no fussiness. I enjoy listening to the melodies as well, and it helps me rest a little while he's napping.Free Music Review: Very nice listening, both for mom and baby.

Very nicely, lightly and playfully orchestrated. Great for when mom wants to hear something else besides Sesame Street Songs.
The Nighty Night CD really made my baby relaxed and sleepy. I now hum parts of the melodies when I want to calm him down.
The CD has a feature that when you put it in your computer to play, it generates a gentle slide show of your pictures. Nice for baby to look at.
I also have put it in the computer to play (ours is hooked up to our TV) with Windows Media Player, that generates a very nice "video clip" to the music. A great way to "see" the music.
The whole series makes a great gift for new parents!

My daughter is now almost 5 years old and she still listens to the same CD she did at 5 months old. She is very bright and is doing amazing in her Junior Kindergarten class. She has always loved music, but she can't fall asleep unless we put on her Mozart CD. I would recomend it to any new or expectent parents, or even to parents who have a hard time putting toddlers to bed. It is a very soothing CD to listen to.Free Music Review: Soothing

Got this Cd for my 1 1/2 year old son to give him something soothing to listen to while he falls asleep. Now he reminds me to turn the cd player on at night before i leave the room. It helps drown out the TV, animals (dogs & cats), and or if we have company at night the talking. it is not a Loud cd but i assume it helps him concentrate on the soothing sounds of Mozart instead of the adults in the living room.Free Music Review: Fast asleep

I gave this as a Christmas present, and with all the noise and lights of the party my 9 mo. old nephew couldn't get to sleep. It was way past his bed time and all he could do was cry. So, his father put in the cd and the baby's body relaxed in his mothers arms, he blinked a few times, took a deep breath and went fast asleep in the middle of the party.
Everyone was pleasently stunned.
