Free Music Review: The Queen Is back so Stamp Your Feet
Hit: 5 Stars

I have bought 2 versions of this cd i bought the regular version with 12 tracks and i bought the Circuit City Version with 2 bonus tracks including the song It's Only Love and a remix of the club hit I'm A Fire. I have seen alot of music released in the past few years by alot of artist that are just horrible and don't need to be even considered as music. Even this year in the pop/r&B there hasnt been really anything to catch the ear and make u listen other than madonna. But as for Donna Summer she has crossed many genre's with this cd. with great songs, Great lyrics which is what the music industry needs today to show the "kids" what real music is. as Others have said Donna was the queen of disco had a few hits in the pop industry after disco. But she proves she back and not going anywhere Except straight to the top of the charts. Its time for the jokers like Mariah to move out of the pallace cause the queen is back and here to stay.

Free Music Review: EXCELLENT ALBUM!!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

This Album is absolutely AWESOME!!! Every song is so different from the one it follows. I have been listening to it everyday since I bought it on May 20 and I just can't get enough of it. The different song styles never allows you to get bored of this wonderful album unlike some other singers that have also released new albums. Although they are pretty good albums the song styles are so similar that half way through their albums I lost interest. Each song sounded similar to the one before and the one after. That DOES NOT happen with "CRAYONS". This Album is DEFINITELY worth buying and by the time you listen to the last track "Bring down the Reign" you can't wait for the album to start all over again with "Stamp your feet". Donna's voice is still as STRONG as when she first started. This was definitely worth the wait, but I hope Burgundy Records and Donna Summer don't make us wait too long for a follow up to this Incredible Album.

Free Music Review: welcome back
Hit: 5 Stars

With her first album in over 16 years. Donna "the queen Summer is back with a new album "Crayons" chock full of dance/pop party joints that will have the most ardent fans getting down to each and every track. Throughout you feel a sense of freedom and excitement in her voice that really brings out the songs. With the songs here it is hard to pick which ones that i enjoy the most. I'll give a go though.

"Stamp Your Feet"
"Mr. Music"
"Crayons" feat Ziggy Marley
"The Queen is Back"
"Fame (The Game)"
"I'm a Fire"
"Bring Down The Reign"

also of note Itunes version has a remix of "I'm A Fire" on track 13.

Love the cd from beginning to end its great to see her back doing what she loves and thats bringing the music to the masses. Welcome back Donna..love to love ya!!

Free Music Review: It will grow on you
Hit: 5 Stars

As a Donna Summers fan, I was happy to see this new release. From the first song, I was pleased with the rich mixture and texture found in her interpretation for each song. Donna's voice is strong, gentle, sensual, flirty, compassionate and defiant. Each song brings a full range of emotions that we love about her and have missed. I love, love, love Science of Love, I'm A Fire (a longer version exists on download music sources--which is not available on the CD), Driving down Brazil, Fame, Queen is Back, and many many other selections. I keep this CD in my car and play it to death so much so that my 21 year daughter has purchased her own copy. It grows on you in a very positive way. Enjoy the beautiful rich tapestry that only Donna can weave for us. Keep it up Donna!

Free Music Review: Like a fine wine ... better with age
Hit: 5 Stars

We were lucky enough to be able to attend one of Donna Summer's concerts this past weekend.
It was truly an incredible event. The crowd went wild when she sang her old songs. They were
literally dancing in the aisles. "They" being the baby boomers who are now in their 50's and 60's.
She sang a bunch of songs from her new Crayons album. It was great to see that she still had it.
It was a small concert hall holding only 400 people. It was more intimate than a large concert venue.
She took the time to explain how she came to write each song on the new album. I ran out the next
day to buy Crayons and have listened to it continually since. Buy it, play it ...
It will put a smile on your face. The Queen IS back.
