The Donny Osmond-led version of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" is wonderful. It has great songs and very vivid music. I highly recommend it and it is one of my favorite CD's. I, too, have been in this musical twice (both times it's come to Nashville). I love the musical, I love the story, and I miss the great time I had while in the production. So, this CD is great for reminiscing. If you've seen the play or even have the movie, this CD is a great companion. Donny Osmond is my second favorite Joseph of all time, just behind Rikki Lee Travolta. While I enjoy Travolta's Hero's Lullaby album, until he does a Joseph soundtrack the Canadian cast with Donny Osmond remains the best. Donny Osmond has a very similar pop-ish voice and many of the same playful qualities that I love.Free Music Review: Seen the paly? Get the CD

The CD of the century, Donny osmand was perfect and so was the rest of the cast. The story rolls off the Cd perfectly. From the sad Close every door to Me to the bouncy Go, go, go Joseph. A very gripping tale told on a CD and with wonderful music by it's side. I recommand this to all Andrew Lloyd Webber fans.Free Music Review: strolling along the boulevard on those canaan days :)

This one is another companion CD to my playbill from the show...the songs in this one are incredibly entertaining. The narrator has a wonderful voice, and carries you through the story. Those Canaan days..one of my favourites...especially when they all gasp for breath after such a long sustained note :)
