Free Music Review: Christmas At Home
Hit: 5 Stars

I love the new song "Christmas time" It's new romantic and sexy. Bravo, Donny!

As for "Christmas at Home. It's amazing. This is just one song as an example, I always noticed the special blending of voices in "Baby, What you Gonna Be". How interesting to find that Donny sang 34(?) tracks to this song and its Donny doing every part in the song. It's a masterpiece! ..."...The wise men who bow unto you"... the harmony and the melody are pure art. The song has so much depth musically, there are 3 vocal parts, maybe more, I hear each part and it's like listening "into" the song, you know what I mean? Kind of like looking into one of those odd picture where you look into the picture to find another picture, that's the real magic of the piece. Simply beautiful to listen to...

Another song he performs compelling me to comment, is "When December Slips Away", when the voices are in harmony and sound like bells.

For me each track on the CD is a listening pleasure. Donny's approach to all the classics are unique with snappy changes and harmonies to delight the senses.

Free Music Review: Not Christmas without it
Hit: 5 Stars

This album has been a Christmas cornerstone for me since its release seven years ago. It is one of the most unique collections of Christmas songs I've ever heard, ranging from familiar classics like "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" to relatively unknown but still amazing songs like "After December Slips Away." Included in the track list is a captivating Calypso version of "Deck the Halls," and I don't think anyone has ever done "Grown-Up Christmas List" more justice than Donny. It's only the first week of November, but I've been blasting this CD in my car for the past few weeks since it arrived in the mail. Even though the snow hasn't started falling yet, hearing these fantastic songs again puts the smell and feel of the Christmas season in the air.

Free Music Review: One sure way to get into the Christmas Spirit!
Hit: 5 Stars

This CD has quickly become my all time favorite Christmas CD. The songs are beautiful, but it is the heartfelt sincerity of Donny's voice that really captures the spirit of the season. I adore Angels We Have Heard on High, and Donny's interpretation gives the classic a fresh, beautiful sound that transcends the beauty of the standard arrangement.

His O Holy Night is no less than stunning and his poignant renditions of A Soldier's King and Mary, Did You Know? bring home the true meaning of the holiday.

The other songs are no less beautiful. Donny's sweet, clear voice communicates how deeply he believes these words he's singing. These are more than just Christmas themed songs. They're a joyful noise unto the Lord!

Free Music Review: Can't trim my tree without this CD playing
Hit: 5 Stars

I bought this CD several years ago. The first time I listened to it I was like a dog with it's head tilted to the side, because Donny puts a new twist into some old favorites. But, now I wouldn't be able to trim the christmas tree without this CD playing while I do it. Some songs are playful and upbeat (Kid in Me; I've Been Looking For Christmas; Who Took The Merry Out of Christmas) and others are hauntingly beautiful (Mary, did you Know?; A Soldier's King). If your don't get teary listening to A Soldier's King, then you don't have a heart. This is not the run of the mill make-over of oldies Christmas music. The arrangements are fresh and refreshing to listen to. I LOVE this CD and recommend it to everyone.

Free Music Review: My new No. 1 favorite Christmas album
Hit: 5 Stars

This is such an enjoyable Christmas album, and Donny's voice is superb. It is definitely my new favorite Christmas CD. Osmond makes every song his own -- the arrangements are top-notch, the vocals inspired and the selections unique. "After December Slips Away"; "Baby, What You Goin' to Be" and "The Soldier's King" are new classics and a welcome change from the same old carols. An interesting note: the song "Come to the Manger" was co-written by Sen. Orrin Hatch! You will thoroughly enjoy this special Christmas CD.
