Donny does a phenomenal job expressing his love for music and Broadway in this exceptionally well done CD. "This is the Moment" captures the heart and soul of some of Broadway's best show tunes--except that Donny makes them BETTER with his beautiful, soothing voice and style. If you are thinking of the teenage idol of the past, forget about him. There is no comparison between the two! You can't go wrong in purchasing this CD if you like quality music. Donny sings the songs with such meaning and purpose that they are truly relaxing and inspiring to listen to. I have followed Donny Osmond since I was a little boy, I am 23 now and he still sounds great. I LOVE broadway music as a whole and so when I heard that Donny was going to record broadway music I was excited because broadway is cool. I especially like the touches he put on "Immortality" and I think the song he does with Vanessa Williams(another one of my favorite performers) from the play "Sweeney Todd" is marvelous, and the title track is great too, I give this cd two very enthusiastic thumbs up, you will not be disappointed because Donny gives it his all and makes you wish you were on Broadway.Free Music Review: Don't let the moment fade

I've always loved the Osmonds, all of them, but Donny especially. This is wonderful. I was so excited that he had one of my favorite songs, No Matter What. I first heard it on Andrew Lloyd Webber's birthday celebration, which Donny also participated in. His voice just keeps getting better. I love the duet with Rosie. They really enjoy each other. I was especially impressed to see him include Give My Regards To Broadway as if to say, "So there!". I love EVERY song on the CD. Keep them coming, Donny, especially broadway. I bought this CD two weeks ago and I can't stop listening to it. It's truly excellent. The best Broadway collection CD I own...and I have a lot of them. Give My Regards to Broadway is so good. This is the Moment should be a classic. The duet with Vanessa Williams is masterfully done. The duet with Rosie O' Donnell is fun. The 2 Andrew Lloyd Webber songs are fabulous. This is something you will really enjoy if you are a contemporary Broadway listener. What a treat. I can only hope that Donny Osmond releases more of this genre. I admit I was hesitant even though I've loved Donny's music all my life. Then I saw part of a special he did for PBS which showcased songs from this CD, and fell in love with his music all over again. He has wonderfully re-invented himself outside of the world of 70's bubble gum pop (which I still like)
My personal favorite is "Seasons of Love" from the musical "Rent". What he's done in the last several years show how much his voice and musical styles have evolved and matured. He's still Donny, still extremely talented, and he still belongs to our generation!
