I can rarely listen to the studio albums, having listened to them for 40 years, and the live albums, though exciting, seem dated. This disk is as if it was found on Jim's grave in Pere LaChasse. Essential Rarities is great for Doors fan because it take you somewhere you never been it take you to another level.
