We bought this for our granddaughter. For now she is sleeping in the same room with her mom. She is teething and is having fussiness at bedtime. This CD is fantastic for calming her and putting/keeping her sleeping. Our daughter can't listen to the first couple of tracks -- she thought they were scary. After our baby girl calms down, we repeat the heartbeat (track 3) all night long -- it helps mommy and baby both sleep!Free Music Review: HAppiest baby on the block....CD

This is an amazing CD. I found that once the baby is swaddled it helps the baby calm down. The first 3 parts of the CD are great and will help relax the parent as well as the baby. The hair drying one provides great white noise but i am not sure that i like it on the CD. Also what helps is to also purchase the Happiest BAby on the Block Book.Free Music Review: If your baby likes white noise - this is a must have

If you have a baby that responds well to white noise, this CD will come in handy! You may not be able to use it past 3 months or so, but when you have an upset baby that can be calmed by the white noise, this is worth its weight in gold! Much less irritating than the white noise you can find on a radio. I also HIGHLY recommend Dr. Karp's books!!!Free Music Review: Wonderful purchase

We bought the Happiest Baby on the Block DVD for my nephew, and used it to learn the tricks before our baby was born, it contains sound tracks as well but I wanted a sound track for the car so I bought this cd. We use it every night and at naptime and she sleeps longer with it. That's an absolute godsend to a new parent. Great purchase!Free Music Review: This Works!

We took the Happiest Baby on the Block class and got this CD. It was sometimes one of the only things that helped settle our son down those first few weeks to get him to sleep. He is 5 months old, and we still use it occasionally when he has trouble settling down for a nap. He is sleeping now thanks to the "hair drier" sounds.
