What happened to Dream Theater? Why does the band feel the need to put out live material after every studio recording. There isn't that much new material to cover. Try waiting a few albums between live recordings. Not to mention the songs on Octavarium are pretty mediocre. Do we really need to pay for them twice? Of course if the gullible fans didn't buy every live album and DVD that was released DT wouldn't put them out. DT simply has become a cash cow taking advantage of it's loyal fans (myself included) who buy every little scrap they throw together.

Has anyone noticed John Myung doesn't care anymore? That the newer material I am supposed to be so excited to hear on this live album has been haphazardly thrown together in between side projects? Petrucci and Portnoy (aka the puppetmasters) should bow down to every fan who has stuck with them through their overtly commercial raping of those who put them at the top of the genre. DT can blow me until they "take the time" to write a decent album to tour behind... then I will buy the Live Album/DVD/Knife Sharpener/Officially Licensed Soap/......
