Free Music Notes for GreatestFree Music Review: The Greatest Is The Greatest! Hit: 5 Stars
Question: Which music artist did the best job of combining rock, disco, and new wave into one distinctive sound with memorable lyrics and videos?Answer: Duran Duran All of Duran Duran's Top 40 hits are included plus the new song. This collection is much better than "Decade" since there are more songs and includes the 1993 hit "Come Undone". The packaging could of been better: no notes, no decent pictures, just song credits. However, it is unlikely that there will be a better collection than this on one CD. Highly recommended.

Free Music Review: Duran's Big Hits Hit: 5 Stars
The CD has all the main hits (pre Astronaut) plus a few lesser known hits. Some songs are edited versions so if that is an issue, beware. This is especially evident on the Rio tracks and Ordinary World. For most people, though, these are the versions they know having heard them on the radio for 20+ years. I could say that such and such song should have been included (OK, Violence of Summer) but can not find any real fault in the selection. The sound quality is fine which should not be a surprise; the sound quality of DD was always top class.
Free Music Review: Accurately Titled Hit: 5 Stars
Whenever "Greatest Hits/Best of" collections come out, I get out my "nit-picking" hat, and try to find something wrong with it. Can't do it on this album. All the right songs were included - "Serious" over "Violence of Summer", the single edit of "Rio" and so forth. Having all the other albums, this one was a good find, getting my favorite versions of the hits all on one portable five inch disc. People who want a taste of Duran Duran are advised to start (and probably stop) here.
Free Music Review: Duran Revisted Hit: 5 Stars
As someone just about to turn twenty-three, I was very young during Duran Duran's first go-round. I remember my baby-sitters going nuts over them, however, and to this day, whenever I hear a Duran song, I'm brought back to my childhood. That's why this CD is so great - aside from killer tunes like "Hungry Like The Wolf," "Ordinary World," etc (all tunes that hook you whether you want to be hooked or not), it's also a retrospective look at the 80's, from a band that helped define a decade.
