This is unlike any other DD release. It's a fresh new sound that is very "radio ready". I have read a lot of reviews that call this release a "sell-out" but I think they simply wanted some airplay and a hit after Astronaut performed so poorly. (Though I can't see why because it's a BRILLIANT CD) The addition of Timbaland and Timberlake is apparent but I think there is something for everyone here. My fave tracks are: Skin Divers, Nite Runner and Falling Down. Great CD to put on at a party, I think it will get the guys back on the charts again.Free Music Review: NICE, REALLY NICE

I really like this. FALLING DOWN is hot! Kudos! Note: All the people writing bad reviews about this album must have an agenda, because if they expect DURAN DURAN to keep making their 1980's music again and again, they don't understand the meaning of organic music; YOU CHANGE WITH THE TIMES OR YOU FAIL! Yes this is different from what Duran have done in the past. It's called GROWTH. Frankly, I think that Andy Taylor was the best thing that ever happened to Duran and this record Red Carpet Massacre is a breath of fresh air. I enjoy listening to all the songs. A different Duran Duran style of music which suits in todays music industry. I just have to say one thing, Duran Duran is the greatest whatever music they create, THE BEST!!!!!!!!!
