I loved Red Carpet Disaster on first listen in my car on a long drive. As much as I liked Astronaut, I think RCM is even better. Nite Runner, Skin Divers, Falling Down, Box Full of Honey and She's Too Much are my favorites. Last Man Standing reminded me of The Seventh Stranger. I'm recommending that all of my friends get a copy for themselves. If they don't, this will be a great Christmas present. I just hope that radio will embrace Duran Duran again. I recently saw Duran Duran perform "Falling Down" on TV as I was switching through the channels and the song stuck with me throughout the next several weeks. I decided to buy the CD since I was a Duran Duran fan back in the 80's. Little did I know that I would fall in love with almost all of the songs on the CD. I now have a new favorite song in "Skin Diver." I am so happy to see them back together and working with Timbaland and Justin Timberlake to freshen up their sound.Free Music Review: Duran Duran finally joined the 21st century

As what a previous review mentioned, this album is a continuation from Big Thing. DD was lost and have been producing terrible albums in between until Red Carpet Massacre. Even if you are not a DD fan from the 80's this album is great introduction for you. Nite-runner and Tempted are my favorite tracks on the album. Those songs will definitely make you dance, feel upbeat and positive. This album is as strong as Justin's Sexyback album. Timbaland is magic!Free Music Review: Something New yet Familiar

When I first bought this disc I listened to it once, then thought "No it's just not the same". Then I just stuck it in my car and suddenly it became the only thing I would listen to. I love to hear how my "boy band" of the 80's have grown! It's an adult dance album. The fun beats of "The Valley" & "Skin Divers" never fail to get me movin'. Even if I'm in my car! The moodiness of "Falling Down" reminds me of old.
Don't dicount the album. It's a keeper!

I've been a Duran Duran fan for the past 24 yrs. I have listen to the good, and the bad (Thank You, Pop Trash)and I have to say....This is there best sense the Wedding Ablum. Night Runner..can't get that song out of my head, and RCM is great. All in all. It's a wonderfully crafted record, and I HIGHLY recomend it to anyone. This is the record that is going to bring Duran Duran back on the hit charts.
