Free Music Review: Tom Petty heavily influenced by Dwight Twilley's sound

I've mentioned elsewhere that Tom Petty was heavily influenced by Dwight Twilley's band, and you can hear a bit of the Petty sound in Twilley's "I'm on Fire" and the influence it may have had on the Heartbreakers, whose first LP came out in 1976. The Dwight Twilley Band was Dwight Twilley, of course, and Phil Seymour, who had a substantial solo hit in 1981 with "Precious to Me."
