If I could, I'de like to shake Dwight's hand and personally thank him. In Israel country music is very rare. That's why sometimes I feel I'm the only one who listens to Dwight and that he's singing only to me... I first listened to "This time" on a trip to the US and got hooked. I found this cd-"a long way home" a must needed return of dwight's original music roots and just absolutely loved it. It definatly takes a person back to his beginning-ea. A LONG WAY HOME is a refeshing, superb hit of Yoakams unique sound and vocals. It's great to see that Dwight has returned to the sound that has made him one of the best artists out. Starting in the late 80s thru now, Dwight never disappoints fans. Each cd release gets better and better. His cds are cheap and well worth the asking price. Things Change is probably one of the best country songs of the last 10 years and the rest of the cd is amazing. Highly recommended.Free Music Review: Dwight's Best of the 1990's

This is Dwight Yoakam's best album this decade!! I loved every track and especially loved the way he included two different versions of the same song, giving each a different beat. Dwight Yoakam deserves every country music award there is but he won't get them 'cause he's too cool.
