I love Dwight's music; every CD (except perhaps "Under The Covers") is fantastic. These songs are true country music. While Nashville puts out 90% garbage, and people accept it, Dwight gives us real, rockin' honky tonk, time and time again. Except for John Anderson, most Brooks & Dunn, Junior Brown, Mark Chesnutt, David Allan Coe, the Derailers, Joni Harms, Becky Hobbs, George Jones, most Chris LeDoux, Danni Leigh, Alan Jackson, Marty Stuart, Ricky Van Shelton, George Strait and Chris Wall, I don't fond much real country today.Free Music Review: One of his best

Dwight Yoakam is one of the most consistent songwriters country music currently has to offer. He writes his own music (most country music singers don't) and isn't afraid to experiment with different sounds. His ability to appeal to many different music fans is a true testament to his greatness. This CD is as good as any of his prior releases, but it takes a lot for me to rate any CD 5 stars. If you like any of his other CDs then I would recomend purchasing this one.Free Music Review: Dwight's plight???

This is very sad album. Some no good woman has seriously effected his heart. The unfortunate truth is, we are all better song writers/musicians and/or novelists while broken hearted. Ironic? I'd say so. This is a great album, I give it 4 stars just because no one is perfect, but sad Dwight comes pretty damn close! It's funny how Dwight consistantly churns out great sounding, very listenable records with a time proven formula. He is also true to the country in country music. "Hey thats the formula!" If there is any criticism it's his pretentious interviews.Free Music Review: BEST YOAKAM IN YEARS

TRACKS 1 THROUGH 5 WILL BLOW YOU AWAY. I CHALLANGE YOU NOT TO BE HUMMING "THINGS CHANGE" AFTER A FEW LISTENS. ENTIRE CD IS TYPICAL DWIGHT, THAT IS TO SAY UNTYPICAL, GREAT LYRIC AND SOUND.
