First there was Their Greatest Hits. Then there was Greatest Hits, Volume 2, which Don Henley once claimed was an unauthorized attempt by the record company to cash in on The Eagles' catalogue. Then there was the 4-disc Selected Works box set. Now we have this new remastered repackaging.Most of this two CD set is available in the Box Set. The only cuts not there--"Seven Bridges Road" (which is on GH Vol 2) and the barely listenable "Hole in the World." For those listeners new to The Eagles, this is an excellent summary of their work. For those of us who've been following the boys for years, though, I can't tell you why you would want this one.
