I have been PJ fan since first album (TEN) and i can say... it's Eddie Vedder making a trip to he fan's dreams, like a baby sleeping song.
It's short but in a couple of time you listen to it, you will be hearing the songs in your head, again and again....
I can say that the album is manufactured in materials of first quality. Even if you have not seen the film (like me) you will feel the history inside the lirics and through what is exposed in the pictures.
I could give 6 stars.

I'm a huge Pearl Jam fan that has been waiting for something like this for a while. I feel like some of P.J.'s new stuff doesn't come close to their older albums....until this CD came along. I know this is a solo gig for Eddie Vedder but its fantastic!! I listen to it all the time!! My husband, who is not a fan of Pearl Jam's recent work, LOVES this CD....which says a lot!! I highly recommend this to anyone who is a fan of Pearl Jam's older stuff or to anyone who is looking for the perfect holiday gift to give!!Free Music Review: Single Best Music Purchase Ever!!

If I were ever forced to pick only one album to listen to for the rest of my life, it would be this soundtrack. This is an amazing collection of songs that I believe transcend the movie. "Society", and "Guaranteed" are beautifully done and are true testament to Eddie Vedder's talents as both a songwriter and musician. At a time when so much of the music produced is manufactured pop dribble, this is truly a refreshing standout. Lovely music and Eddie's soulful vocals, as well as meaningful lyrics with substance - what more can you ask for? I love what these songs say and the way Eddie conveys these emotions. It's music that I find very poignant and honest and - for personal reasons - impossible not to connect with.
On a side note:
Like me, Eddie Vedder is a huge fan of the Australian rock group The Church - a band that I highly recommend. Begin with Gold Afternoon Fix, After Everything Now This, or Untitled # 23.

Since the beginning of Pearl Jam, I have been a die hard fan. For the past 17 years or so, I have been waiting for an Eddie Vedder solo album. After the lyrical success of their past few albums, I knew it was coming. Finally here, Into The Wild has to be one of the most mellow CDs that I have ever listened to. I bought it and just sat in my car, parked in an empty lot, and just listened to the CD (it's only a little over half an hour long). I can't wait to see the movie if this CD will accompany it.
