Into The Wild is a real masterpiece of american music. Great voice, great guitar, big emotions.

Free Music Review: Great music but not enough of it
Hit: 4 Stars

This is a great soundtrack and I love listening to Eddide Vedder. Every song on the album is great which is not something you find very often.

The thing that keeps this from 5 stars though is the album is just too short! There are barely over 30 minutes of music and most of the songs are really short. The longest song, Guaranteed, has a long pause in the middle (I hate that).

Free Music Review: A Great Movie, A Great Soundtrack
Hit: 5 Stars

This soundtrack is an appropriate tribute to the inspirational story recounted in Penn's movie. A story about a kid who ventured on a great journey of travel and self-discovery. Unfortunately, the young man's spiritual journey reaches a noble conclusion, while his physical journey ends in tragedy. This is a real life. This is real music.

Free Music Review: Fantastic! This album is so good. Only problem too short
Hit: 5 Stars

Inspiring and thought provoking music and lyrics. Eddie Vedder has definately done something new. If this doesn't sweep some awards. I just give up. If you like music that expands beyond folk but not bubblegum pop get this album. LOVE IT! LOVE IT!!!!

Free Music Review: Acoustic Eddie makes it a classic album
Hit: 5 Stars

Being a fairly young Pearl Jam fan (I was 4 when they released their classic album "Ten"), I have had to do a lot of catching up with the many moods and styles of Pearl Jam. Initially, I strongly disliked some of their slower tracks (Garden, Oceans, Indifference, etc.), but having had some time to listen to them more closely, and having seen five concerts over some 8 years, I have seen how diverse, and truly special, PJ's music can be once Eddie takes center stage and just sits down with his guitar.

The soundtrack here for "Into the Wild" is a great example of Eddie letting go of all the corporate distractions that he and PJ have had to dodge for over 15 years as one of the more longstanding rock bands of our time. This album is a wonderful listen, especially if you are a fan of PJ's slower songs. Done in all acoustics, this albums creates a more intimate connection with the listener, as most of the songs are populated with simply Eddie, his guitar, and you.

Although it is a bit short, the songs are great to listen to many times in a row, and they have yet to tire me out, and I've listened to the album 10 times in the past 3 days. Pop it in, sit back, and relax to this great example of the older, more matured Eddie Vedder that so many Pearl Jam fans have to come to adore.
