Free Music Review: All About Elaine
Hit: 5 Stars

FINALLY! Everyone gets to hear what Broadway has seen and heard for decades: La Stritch! The stories (no useless banter here), the songs, the delivery of every line, all of it pure Elaine Stritch. This show, a collaboration between Elaine and John Lahr, hits its stride right at the start and keeps on to the last glorious and seemingly un-Stritch-like encore ("The Sound of Music"??). This is a must not only for theatre buffs, but for any one interested in what a life in the theatre is really like: the work, the tears, the triumphs, the loves and the loneliness.

Free Music Review: Show Biz At Its Best
Hit: 5 Stars

We saw the show in NY and were knocked out, mesmerized, stunned by Stritch's honesty, talent and verve. These 2 CD's contain the entire show; it allows us to relive the fantastic evening over and over. For those who can't get to see this lady perform her magic...this is the next best thing. She's 77 and struts as if she's 40; and she still has the best legs on Broadway. Relax into your favorite chair and listen to this phenomenal piece of theatre that a team of pros produced...you'll laugh yourself silly and probably shed a tear or two; we did and continue to. Enjoy!

Free Music Review: What a women
Hit: 5 Stars

I've seen her live show 5 times now. She is the most exciting female entertainers out there. Elaine still gives that certain "kick" to every song. She has always sung and acted from the heart. There never has been a women like her in musical theatre before and there never will. This CD is a wonderful token for me as to her brillant and wonderful strength in her field of entertainment. She will always have my upmost respect for being one of the most talented and beautiful women Broadway has ever had. All my love Elaine, your one in a million.

Free Music Review: Poetry, Pathos and Plenty of Music
Hit: 5 Stars

I was fortunate to see Elaine Stritch's show on Broad - (you should forgive the experession)- way. But, if the CD conveys her one-of-a-kind great show biz stories, and renditions of songs that have become hers, it will be worth playing over and over. The laughs and the tears generated by this true duaghter of the Broadway musical provide a personal history and many object lessons that should impress all ages and, for a change -- give you something to think about. I look forward to the release of the CD.
