Free Music Review: It's an okay CD but not her best effort!

Brazilian jazz pianist Eliane Elias sings several of Antonio Carlos Jobim's classics on this CD. It logically is a sequel to a 1990 release, "Eliane Elias Plays Jobim." Eliane's singing in PORTUGUESE [not Spanish, as stated by another customer reviewer] is weak at times. Her attempt at a sound similar to Chet Baker's is thin and too low in volume. Her singing is best when she sings and plays piano with no accompaniment. Better CDs are the 1990 release and "Paulistana."
