Free Music Review: My first introduction to Eliza's music

I first became acquainted with this disc in the late '90s. I bought a bunch of them at a discount outlet in New York and then sold them online for a tidy profit.
I listened, though, and liked what I heard. I was taken with her song, "Take Off Your Old Coat." There are some other gems in this collection, as well: "Dinoysian Love," "I Become The Moon," "When We Cross Over," "Bearing Witness," and (especially) "Lights Of Santa Fe." Gilkyson has a unique voice and the musical accompaniment is tasteful and understated.
Gilkyson has continued to develop as a singer and songwriter, and she continues to record some fine records. I first became aware of her as an artist when she recorded for the fabled Gold Castle Record label in the late 1980s. That was the label that brought out some great music recorded by Joan Baez, Judy Collins, Peter, Paul and Mary, the Washington Squares, Bruce Cockburn among others.
