The latest in a series of albums for children, this is a delightful compilation of songs from Liz MItchell and company. The grandchildren like it and so does this grandpa. Ms. Mitchell has an angelic voice, clear notes and fresh, clean acoustic delivery. I could listen to her for hours and not grow tired of her rendition of old ditties (and new ones, too). Elizabeth, if you read this, your work has been a blessing to me and I truly appreciate your efforts.

We all loved this album from the first listen and only love it more as time goes on. The collection of songs is varied, with some older and some newer, but our favorites are certainly the covers of old Woody Guthrie Songs. Using a few different languages, Mitchell exposes our little one to other cultures and sounds in a very charming way. The feel is sweet and innocent without being cloying or cheesy. This is our favorite CD from one of our favorite childrens artists.Free Music Review: Another great choice for kids and adults!

This is another great album by Elizabeth Mitchell. We have several of her CD's now and they are filled with songs that your kids will enjoy and so will you. Mitchell's voice has such a nice quality to it and your kids will want to sing along to this collection. If you're looking for something different that won't make you feel like you want to stick a screwdriver in your ear (like some of the music geared toward the preschool set), then this is a great choice.Free Music Review: I adore this CD

This is our third Elizabeth Mitchell CD, and I cannot get enough of it. All of her songs are so melodic and soothing. I appreciate the history of the music as well. Ms. Mitchell tells why she chose the songs she did on the insert included with the CD. She points to the great singers and songwriters of our past and helps us see how the music then is still relevant and enjoyable today. I highly recommend all of her CDs, you will not be disappointed.Free Music Review: Beautiful!

I got this cd in the hopes that my soon to be 2 year old twins would listen to something besides the Wiggles. They absolutly LOVE this cd and so do I. Mitchell's voice is sweet and soothing and her hubby and daughter who feature on the album are wonderful. My monkeys will be fussing and whining and I pop this cd into to player and instant quiet that is until they start to sing along. Great music that will have the whole family singing along.
