The songs on this CD are fun and include children's voices as accompaniment on many of the selections. My daughter, 7, has really enjoyed listening to this, and I like it too. I love the positive nature of the lyrics, and find it a pleasure to listen to. My daughter has already begun singing some of the songs on her own even when the CD is off..."I've Got Peace Like a River...." Thank you to everyone who has reviewed this album before me. I had never heard of Elizabeth Mitchell until I happened upon this album on Amazon and read the reviews. She is fabulous and I love that the quality of her songs rests on her vocals and lyrics, rather than chaotic, synthesized music, which seems to be the standard of kid's music these days. I intend to buy both of her other albums and hope she is coming out with more!Free Music Review: Awesome for children and adults of all ages

My 16month old can not get enough of this CD. We play it for her in the car and we love watching her bop to the beat. Cute, and soothing songs that will have you singing them to your children after the CD has stopped playing. We also have her other two cd's You are my little flower and you are my sunshine, and we think this one is her best (but we also enjoy and play her other two cd's for our little one!). I just can't say enough about how good this CD is! I'm not usually a fan of cover tunes, but this version of Three Little Birds is perfect! Little Liza Jane is a huge crowd pleaser. I always keep this in the car, because when the crankiness starts in the backseat, I just turn this on and the complaining stops and the singing begins. So cute! I've exposed my 4 year-old to a lot of great kids music and this is one of her all-time faves. If she's in her playroom, this is the CD she always wants to hear. I'm not as big a fan of the songs with child singing, but my daughter seems to like all of the songs. She refers to the CD as "Liza Jane" since that is the most memorable song. If you like good folky music, and don't like cheezy kiddy music, this is a gem.
