I cannot even express how much we love this cd. It is beautiful and pure. Elizabeth's voice is soothing and magical and the songs are so catchy! When we received this CD and listened to it for the first time I honestly cried because I was so elated to have finally found genuinely good music for my children to grow up to. Our very favorite is track 5. I will be purchasing all of Elizabeth's albums now.Free Music Review: Best E.M. Yet!

This CD is fantastic!! It has become our girls' new favorite bedtime music, edging out their long-standing favorite 'Catch the Moon' - and like the other reviewers, I love it too. Elizabeth Mitchell's song selection is wonderful. We thought it a special touch of karma that the Gillian Welch/Rawlings tune was what my husband used to sing our daughters to sleep with when they were babies. There are so many commercial, highly advertised products for children out there that are just plain terrible in quality. It's refreshing to find children's music that is simply enjoyable and very well done. My 2 1/2 year old granddaugher is already singing singing parts of this CD and she loves having it on in the car. This cd is a favorite of mine. I love Elizabeth Mitchell's voice and folk-inspired versions of many songs I've heard before. It often finds its way back into the cd player in our car, especially when the kids are fussing. And we find ourselves singing many of the songs long after we leave the car. Fun, folky and a little Bob Marley. Can't get much better for kids' music.Free Music Review: Calms kids and puts them to sleep. Love it.

Have loved this album for three years now. It works wonders on both of my kids (3 and newborn). Can be relied on to put a tired kid to sleep and keep them asleep (at least the second part of the album). I can listen to it multiple times and not get tired of it or annoyed by it. I'd recommend it for any new parent. Great baby shower gift too (the way I came across it).
