Some wonderful stuff here. It really makes you wonder why Elton has scaled down his piano skills on his recent music. His finest music was made with piano, bass and drums, with no other frills. The soft piano touch displayed on "Mellow," and "Think I'm Gonna Kill Myself" has rarely been showcased again from old Elton. I wish that he'd junk the Adult Contemporary slop and Diva concerts and concentrate on making some good piano music again. He's risking his legacy today on the pathetic drivel that he thinks is commercial.
