Free Music Notes for The Blues Rolls OnFree Music Review: kgibbs Hit: 5 Stars
Elvin has been rocking since the 60's. I heard him for the first time this year on NPR. This is a Blues CD that someone who likes Southern Rock would enjoy. It would be name dropping if the who's who in Blues were not his friends. My favorite track is Oklahoma. It's an autobiographical song that tells some great history. There is a quick & intresting conversation with BB King.
Free Music Review: Bbobby Hit: 5 Stars
Anyone that's not convinced that Elvin Bishop is a true bluesman hasn't listened to this CD. Along with the classic likes of B.B. King, James Cotton, George Thorogood, meshed with the talents of Kim Wilson, and Derek Trucks, it's where classic blues meets new blues. This CD hits the "blues-eye".
Free Music Review: Anothet Great album from Elvin Hit: 5 Stars
This is a great album and I really like the nod towards the new up and comers. If you have bought other albums from Elvin Bishop this one deserves to be included in your collection. I hope the guy lives for another 20 years just to hear what he's up to. He never grows old to these ears.
