Free Music Review: The King at the Peak of His Career Hit: 5 Stars
What can I say? This is Elvis at the height of his superstardom. This special was viewed by 1.5 billion people. In this great show, Elvis looked and sounded phenomenal. This was the first Elvis album I ever heard and it still is fresh even today. Just look at the tracklisting and you'll see that this album has something for everybody. The version of "American Trilogy" is so emotional, it's like Elvis is singing it for the September 11th attacks. What a great artist!!! Long live the King!!!
Free Music Review: HIS Best Live Show Ever! Hit: 5 Stars
Even though I have been an Elvis fan since I was a child, my Mother knew little of Elvis or his talent, until I convinced her to watch and listen to the original broadcast of this album in 1973...Believe it or not, after seeing and hearing him, alas, a NEW fan was born.....Yes, I corrupted my dear sweet mom into becoming an Elvis Presley fan! I recommend this recording to anyone that wishes to feel the "power" of Elvis Presley.
Free Music Review: Greatest Elvis Album Ever Hit: 5 Stars
I've listened to almost every Elvis Album released, and without a doubt this edition of Aloha From Hawaii, is by far the greatest show he ever put on. The sound is crisp, and his voice has never sounded more alive. His performance was outstanding, if you ever thought about purchasing an Elvis album, buy this one today, you won't be disappointed. If you weren't a huge Elvis fan already, after you hear this, you will be.
Free Music Review: Five Stars on Presentation Alone Hit: 5 Stars
The world was hungry for Elvis after his 1968 "comeback" (return to concerts) and this was his best. Mixing in his own songs with others that he admired, along with the then-new James Taylor tune, "Steamroller" (released as a single in 1973), the King wowed and amazed most of the WORLD with this broadcast. He was at the top of his game for this concert. Buy two of these; you could wear out one.
