This is an enjoyable Christmas disc of music from Elvis Presley and some of the biggest stars in music today. My favorite tracks are the bluesy duets "Santa Claus Is Back In Town" and "Merry Christmas Baby". These two woman can really belt out a tune. I also like the romantic sound of "I'll Be Home For Christmas" featuring Carrie Underwood. The piano playing by John Jarvis is beautiful here. I love the upbeat tone of "Here Comes Santa Claus "with Leeann Rimes. The Jordanaires, who were Elvis' own band, provide excellent background vocals throughout this disc. I love their bandground vocals on the Ann Murray duet "Silver Bells". This is great Christmas music.Free Music Review: 2 days and I'm already hooked

I just bought this cd as soon as it came out. I am blown away by how christmassy it is!!! Every Christmas me and my family go to grandma's house and celebrate the holidays and I can't wait to pull out this amazing Elvis cd. It starts out with Blue Christmas and let me tell you you're in for a treat. Then it just goes right on down the line with one great remix after the other. What I like here is that they stay in touch with Elvis' sound in other words Elvis would have really liked this. There's no fooling around, it's Christmas music as only the King of Rocknroll and the greatest female singers could deliver. I love it!!!Free Music Review: The King Lives On!

I am a huge Elvis fan and I loved this compliation of Elvis Christmas songs. The fact that the technology of today was able to pair Elvis with some awesome female singers is just unfathomable! I understand that Elvis singing a duet (with few execptions) would not have been possible when he was living as the Colonel would not allow it. So it's all the more amazing that it was possible 31 years after he left us. I particularly love "Blue Christmas" with Martina McBride. I wasn't thrilled with "Merry Christmas Baby" with Gretchen Wilson.Free Music Review: Perfect Elvis Christmas

Having been a lifelong Elvis fan, I treasured his Christmas songs since his first Christmas release in 1957. CHRISTMAS DUETS enhances the originals and gives you a nostalgic holiday experience in hearing such classic Christmas songs updated with additonal instrumentation and voices. It must have been an honor for all the duet artists who contributed their wonderful talents to this project. This is a "new" Elvis Christmas album that is different with a fresh new sound. I'm 55 years old and have been listening to Elvis my whole life. I heartily recommend this CD to all. Yes, it is yet another shameless move by the industry to make more bucks off Elvis. Yes, it is not "pure" Elvis. And yes, it is well worth purchasing because it works! It sounds like Elvis is coupled with all these modern vocalists making holiday music for fans to enjoy. And it is enjoyable! I also think it will be just one more way to bring new fans to Elvis, much like the remixes have. That is not all bad!
